YELVERTON GOLF CLUB COURSE VLOG PART 4
We are at Yelverton Golf Club in Devon on Dartmoor as part of the Dartmoor Golf Breaks series and playing 18 holes, Dan Hendriksen PGA Professional, Lester Barnes 0 handicap, Lee Whittaker 12 handicap and special guest Craig Passmore +2 Handicap.

Yeleverton is the home of the South West Foursomes event of which Lester won as a PGA Professional a number of years ago. With this in mind we decide to play a round robin foursomes event where every 6 holes we change a partner. The player that finishes with the most points wins the match.

Really loving the vlogs. Not sure if it says more about me that they’re the highlight of my day. Could really do with keeping the camera steady, particularly around the greens though. Keep up the great work.

I know Lee is tall and he hits it far, but his irons look way too short for him, is that why he lifts the left heel on the backswing all the time ? Anyway keep up the good work Dan, all your vlogs are really good.

Lee off 12 is a bandit situation, if he can get his ball flight and shortgame /putting sorted he will be single figures real quick,!!
I had a reply off him in the last vlog saying he had been cut to 10. A step in the right direction!
No chance. Two clubs short every time he picks up an iron and has been for the last 3-4 vlogs. At what stage do you stop taking that 169 8 iron you got that 1 time on the monitor and realise your 2 clubs short 80% of the time. Bandit off 12, my brother is off 12 and he'd beat Lee 10 and 8

I agree about the TH-cam comments, someone was questioning Lee’s handicap (at 12), saying he should be much higher. This was at the end of part 2, only 6 holes and alternate shots at that!
I love watching these videos and the banter. Unfortunately my banter didn’t come across in my comment. I should have added some ‘LOL’s!!
Lee, You need a stick to the ground to avoid this shaking filming (sorry, for this slight criticism) - think this would help... and be more stationery w less walking around

Dan speaks like a commentator all of a sudden.
VAR on Lester's pitch .............. HOLED, listen to the contact of the second bounce as it lands in the hole. There is an echo which implies it has hit a hollow surface being the C19 plate , the ball would have gone into the hole and it is unlikely that it would have bounced out as the pin would have interfered with the rebound trajectory. So Get Up Dan should now be Suck it up Dan🤣

So the +2 guy can just hit it miles off the tee and hole the odd putt. He's the perfect modern golfer. Get him on the protein shakes and he'll out Bryson Bryson. I remember the good old days when skill was respected !!
The skill is maintaining accuracy when you're hitting bombs. If there was no skill, anyone could do it.
Bryson just hit his tee shot off the 1st tee at the PGA 50 yards left and made a birdie. You don't need to hit it straight, that is a myth. He gouged it onto the green and then used his near vertical putter, rammed up his arm to take any hand movement out of the stroke, to hole a putt. If you watched it you will see nothing of skill other than power and reading a gentlely braking putt. I don't want to watch that, especially when he has his temper tanturns at the officials when they give him a correct ruling he does not like.

Is it Lee’s camera that is from 1983 with no image stabilisation? Absolutely shocking 🙈 these course vlogs seem to be losing the appeal somewhat, otherwise great content on the other videos. Constructive criticism i can assure you 👍
