The workshop goes from strength to strength - a dream setup for most of us. A suggestion: have you looked at the articulated cable carrier stuff that looks like a tank track? It might make for a neater solution than the coiled mains lead for the camera setup. You could potentially run other cables down it too - USB, for example. Just a thought :)
There is a slicker way to mount a vice! Mount a caravan reciever under the bench and attatch the vice to the part where the ball would mount. A special version makes this easier. I think I welded mine to the underside of my plate steel work bench. Granted, mine sits outside and the vice is monstrous, this allows it to slide off easily by pulling the pin. Any rattle can be solved with a wedge or purchase an anti rattle device. My workshop blew away 2 years ago and my stand is built of plumbing pipe, fittings, a large caravan wheel, hub, brake rotor, and a larger blown small engine for extra stability, a Cinelli stem, and taped drop handlebars. I'm envious, but probably couldn't deal with that degree of organization! No OCD here!
I suggest using those cable tracks you see in CNC machines for a neat setup in wiring for the camera mount. Some chamfers on the vice wood mount would also be mint. Great setup!
Hey Ali, Shop is lookin great! Try hanging your bikes alternating up/down so the bars arent all interfering for the same space, they hang a lot nicer that way.
Great build Ali & Fraser to ease us bikers into the Winter months. A vice is critical in bike builds. I don't have a garage so I have a 3 by 2 plank and the vice bolted to it. So I can use it outside/inside. I use it in my kitchen, causing grief with my partner I dont know why, Im a better cook than she is😄! Props on that Camera rig. 'Forewarned is forearmed'. You seem to have thought everything out logically! 👍
Someone commented what do you need to know is a tea pot and a bed this is Scotland so replace the tea pot with a couple barrels of whiskey Plus at 14:40 Allie has started Friday night early and started to get hammered already😂😂
What a dream bike cave/video studio, congrats! The vice position is making me anxious though! 😅 Why not move it all the way to the corner of the workbench?
Is anyone else cringing like mad at Ali using that milling bit in a drill with no safety glasses? I'm just praying it doesn't snap off and impale him as I watch 😅

Nice to see it's coming along... and congrats Fraser!
Love the both of you! Cant wait to see new sketchy bike projects in the garage :D
Looks great!
Loving the garage Ali it’s looking awesome, can’t wait to see the future builds from here
I've got a pair of decent audio monitors, now I can make my neighbours believe there's a construction going on here just by watching Ali's channel.

I mean I did explain exactly why in the video 😂
I’m glad you like the room though 😁
Where are the black metal trays on the right hand side of the work bench from? The ones mounted on the wall, thanks
Nice👍 Which assebly pad is that from?
Change vises? How often does one change vises?

Please dip the volume when using power tools or a hammer (to match the volume of normal speech), when you edit the videos. It hurt my ears.
Thst beard 😅... man.... austrian painter vibes bro. Sorry
