I quite like the eyes now that I'm seeing them in motion, and I think the Let's Chill mode is cute, and as someone suffering from Anxiety I need that. Still wish the beak moved and I wish it spoke more Furbish but other than that it's really cute!
I think the eyes and eyelids are really expressive, more so than I thought they would be. I have anxiety too, sometimes really bad so the calming mode makes me happy!

I love how the ears light up and do things now as well, and I love the new design! We’ve come a long way, and I’m really really hoping that I’ll be able to get one. I don’t care how old I get, I just think these little guys are adorable and I want one.
Oh this is so exciting! I’m glad the eyes aren’t digital anymore. I realized that this furby has stiffer movements than the furby connect and I honestly like that much more. If I ever get one of these I’m naming him Sorbet.
Yeah I think they are going back to their roots with the 90s Furbys in many ways on this new model. Sorbet is a great name! I've named this one Sunlyte 💜

NOOO I'M so sorry they shipped it like that what da heck 😭😭 I've never seen something with just the shipping label slapped on like that that's so unfortunate especially for a collector💔 One thing that really bothers me about this furby is that the rubber coating on the ears and feet actually seems to rub off quite easily.. If I have mine sittung on the table for a bit the feet start to wear down quite fast. And I've set him in my little closet when he's asleep where the ears ended up touching the celing and have already got some "bald spots" where the rubber has rubbed off haha. Outside of that I do think the material for the furby overall is very sturdy and they could likely take quite a few drops down a staircase before kicking the bucket lol. Overall they are silly and whimsical furbys but definitely don't feel as interactive or have the same level of personality as earlier furby models imo..

Yeah I was so annoyed with Amazon for not even shipping my order, it was due on the 4th of July. It never got shipped so when the 4th arrived I cancelled the order and ordered it again and now the purple one will arrive on Thursday. The coral is my original order that I ordered on June 22nd. It arrived July 10th. Ridiculous! Anyway I have lots more videos scheduled to be released in the next week or so, right till the end of the month so far!

wow, i'm in love with how it moves. i love the lights in the ears, the feet moving, the eyelids especially. i just really wish it had a moving mouth like the others. i also wish they kept the original shape for the forehead marking, but oh well. the heart is still cute. the new ones are way too hyper for me. maybe i'm just old, but i miss the mellow nature of the 90's ones.
I think nothing will replace the 90s ones and they can't seem to get the same vibe either. I like to think of each generation as a kind of reimagining of them

I've been watching furby videos for like 5 days straight. I decided to buy an older one from a girl that took it out of the box and never put batteries in. I wan the newest one too... Probably will buy from usa because here in Poland they are almost 3 times more expensive.
@@Silvolf what I don't like about the new one is that its ears are only moving to the sides while old ones could move them more (I might be wrong about it?). Beak is not moving at all. And one more thing is that they speak english straight away, so no need to "teach" them. All the other things about it are nice tho. Like flashing ears look so cool, they would probably look even cooler if you turned off the light. Eyes are cool, moving feet It is also good that there is no app needed, that would save its batteries for sure :)

The battery compartment is interesting, I wonder if the battery that goes in first will be hard to remove? I remember having an old Philips walkman that took 3 AAs and it had a ribbon that you were meant to lay under the batteries so you can get them out easier, if you forget to place the ribbon correctly, lol, rip finger nails! That's amazing! I have all the Furby models except for the 2023 one. I was incredibly surprised and excited when Hasbro released a new Furby. I'll be getting it soon. Unfortunately, it doesnt have LED eyes or app connectivity, which is a bit disappointing. Given that it's 2023, I expected it to be AI-based. Now that Furby is back, I hope they won't leave a gap like they did with the Furby Connect. I think they might release another one next year, and hopefully, it will have personalities and more features. Nevertheless, the new Furby is cute, cant wait for mine to arrive. I might even start making Furby videos on my channel again. I created a custom Furby, like Silfurby, and I might show it off. By the way, did you know they discovered a debug mode for the 2012 Furby, Furby Boom, and Furby Connect?
your faulty furbies toh-loo kah has a loose sync screw so he moves the wrong way and he is hard to wake up by tilting him may-may seems to never learn english (she is stuck in stage 1) fuzzynub's original battery compartment broke but you fixed it snowflake's lower eyelids are stuck silvurby has a slightly sensitive movement sensor and her eyes glitched once but it is fixed now tay-tah has a very sensitive movement sensor tee-bay glitches out a lot, causing her to stop moving and her eyes go crazy furbacca has a slow motor and he seems to be hard to wake up and sunlight has a sensitive sideways movement sensor
The irony of this new breed of Furby having great English, but also being unable to move its mouth. I have the rainbow one on order. Doesn't look like I'll be getting it for a while; which is fine, I can wait. I got my old ones out recently. I really miss the more natural look of the original ones. The mild colour stripes, furry ears, more hair & so on. Its cute, sounds like it came right out of a My Little Pony episode. Pretty obvious that they're focusing mainly on girls now though. It makes rap sound good though, which is hard to do. Little furball has talent. So long as I can have dumb arguments with it again I'll be happy. Don't think it'll top the 2012 one though. Loved the caveman personality.
Yeah that's true! I have the rainbow one on order too, it's out in October here. The furry ears definitely gave it more personality and it's sad they're focusing more on girls. A lot of people would like more natural colours, most of the other generations have had more natural colours as well as bright ones so there's something for everyone.
@Silvolf Yeah lot more variety back in the day. I remember that Christmas. I had a green one with stripes, my cousins had a lavender one each & my auntie had this wild bright yellow bumblebee looking one. We had them all in a circle talking with each other & enjoying the magic of it all. Good times. Suppose it's cheaper just yo make a few select colours & brighter colours tend to be more popular with kids. So it makes sense.
@@FaolanHart yeah kids do like bright and colourful and I guess if they're not sure how well it will sell, it's easier to keep either few colours or simple colours. Even so I've seen far less variety from the Crystals onwards. I really wanted patterned Connects but it never happened sadly, most likely due to poor sales.

I will just say I am REALLY curious about different languages. Some of the phrases needs to get HEAVILY translated for polish. Like we dont use word "bestie" here and we don't have a word that even fits that xD.
Yeah I'm not sure if they do different language ones. I imagine they do because it would make sense. Maybe it would translate to best friend or if you have a slang word for buddy in Polish?

I like my three 1998 furbies And the fun thing is that they don’t speak any English out of the box they just give you a dictionary Also when they say “ah ah ah” not furbish but it means they are hungry
Yeah I do miss that with the newer Furbys. This one unlocks stuff but it's more that it unlocks songs etc for the various functions it has, not the English learning
The 2023 now has the same eye state as 2005 and 1998. But the 2005 and 1998 ones have moving eyes. This one does'nt which is a crying shame.... (it also has microphone as the 20005 one)

Furby's design are cute. But... Personally, I never liked this squeaky voice of new versions. They're just a little annoying and childish in comparison to older ones (1998-2006). I don't say it's a bad toy, it's made for another generation of kids, but by how it look I really expected it to act just a little more gentle...

You can actually hug the 2023 furby! It's very hard for it to detect it though! I've only done it like 4 times! It's pretty hard to do!

That's amazing! I have all the Furby models except for the 2023 one. I was incredibly surprised and excited when Hasbro released a new Furby. I'll be getting it soon. Unfortunately, it doesnt have LED eyes or app connectivity, which is a bit disappointing. Given that it's 2023, I expected it to be AI-based. Now that Furby is back, I hope they won't leave a gap like they did with the Furby Connect. I think they might release another one next year, and hopefully, it will have personalities and more features. Nevertheless, the new Furby is cute, cant wait for mine to arrive. I might even start making Furby videos on my channel again. I created a custom Furby, like Silfurby, and I might show it off. By the way, did you know they discovered a debug mode for the 2012 Furby, Furby Boom, and Furby Connect?

toh-loo kah has a loose sync screw so he moves the wrong way and he is hard to wake up by tilting him
may-may seems to never learn english (she is stuck in stage 1)
fuzzynub's original battery compartment broke but you fixed it
snowflake's lower eyelids are stuck
silvurby has a slightly sensitive movement sensor and her eyes glitched once but it is fixed now
tay-tah has a very sensitive movement sensor
tee-bay glitches out a lot, causing her to stop moving and her eyes go crazy
furbacca has a slow motor and he seems to be hard to wake up
and sunlight has a sensitive sideways movement sensor

I got my old ones out recently. I really miss the more natural look of the original ones. The mild colour stripes, furry ears, more hair & so on.

Yeah that's true! I have the rainbow one on order too, it's out in October here. The furry ears definitely gave it more personality and it's sad they're focusing more on girls. A lot of people would like more natural colours, most of the other generations have had more natural colours as well as bright ones so there's something for everyone.

I remember that Christmas. I had a green one with stripes, my cousins had a lavender one each & my auntie had this wild bright yellow bumblebee looking one.
We had them all in a circle talking with each other & enjoying the magic of it all. Good times.
Suppose it's cheaper just yo make a few select colours & brighter colours tend to be more popular with kids. So it makes sense.
@@FaolanHart yeah kids do like bright and colourful and I guess if they're not sure how well it will sell, it's easier to keep either few colours or simple colours. Even so I've seen far less variety from the Crystals onwards. I really wanted patterned Connects but it never happened sadly, most likely due to poor sales.

Yeah I thought it was neat, like a friend introducing themself to you. Yes it has a motion sensor. You can shake it to change the light colours in its ears

Yeah they ruined the box 😔it takes 4 batteries. Though it has the same voice, I'm glad they didn't reuse any of the old audio from the Connect.

I will just say I am REALLY curious about different languages. Some of the phrases needs to get HEAVILY translated for polish. Like we dont use word "bestie" here and we don't have a word that even fits that xD.
Yeah I'm not sure if they do different language ones. I imagine they do because it would make sense. Maybe it would translate to best friend or if you have a slang word for buddy in Polish?

Yeah I do miss that with the newer Furbys. This one unlocks stuff but it's more that it unlocks songs etc for the various functions it has, not the English learning

The 2023 now has the same eye state as 2005 and 1998. But the 2005 and 1998 ones have moving eyes. This one does'nt which is a crying shame.... (it also has microphone as the 20005 one)
But I ranked the 2023 one worse than the rest of them...

Furby's design are cute. But... Personally, I never liked this squeaky voice of new versions. They're just a little annoying and childish in comparison to older ones (1998-2006). I don't say it's a bad toy, it's made for another generation of kids, but by how it look I really expected it to act just a little more gentle...
Yeah I see where you're coming from. The original Furbys were more chill. These newer ones act like they have a sugar high at times!
