Slinky's enclosure is looking amazing! It's turning into a nice jungle like setting which he must just love. Once you get the concrete covered it will be even better. He's one spoiled monitor. But he deserves it. He's such a good boy.
After trying for years, i finally get to add a species to my collection that I often but only sometimes see here on the Kamp, a human child. :-) my wife finnaly got that little plus sign!!!!!!!!
Your children are so lucky to have you as their dad. What an amazing fun way to do chores. I had fun chores as a kid too. We had horses and dogs and birds to feed but nothing compared to this Oasis of yours. Slinkys old enclosure look amazing!! 1 if I didn't know what it used to be you could never tell. Were you filled in the pond with all that lovely substrate what's so smart. You're a very good daddy to All Creatures Great and Small?.. ( including your bipeds). You would love Clint's reptile episode where he rated human children to see if they would be good pets🤣🤣. They received a very low score!😂😂
I hope Leo realizes one day just how lucky he is to live on such an amazing property. I know that when you grow up with something special, it becomes just normal and ordinary, but there comes a time that you know how lucky you are. Sometimes it’s too late but in this case, he’s got time so I hope it happens for him. He may go a completely different way eventually and that’s ok. I realize I have a bias because I didn’t grow up with reptiles and I love them, so Kenan’s place is spectacular to me. Hang in there Leo!!🦎🐢❤️🦎🐢
I love watching Sofia’s interest in animals. I have 4 grandkids and I’ve tried my best to make one of them my animal buddy. I think a love and fascination w animals is something u r born with, & it can’t b forced. Sofe is def a sweet little blessing for Kenan. She’s the cutest little chatter box. My granddaughters r the same ☺️ haha. I don’t know why it is, but, when u have a child who gets excited about animals & enjoys learning about them… it’s so satisfying!!! Ha
As a kid that grew up in INDIANA, we had a few animals. We lived in the country & when it was nice out we would be outside. We were taught to help & be involved with work. My brother was like Leo & I was a Sophia. I'm almost 49, the kids now don't want to go out & explore. We wood be in our woods, creeks, barn until mom honked the horn on the car. She had different honked for different things. She would always say...Never go so far you can't here me honk. Miss those days. I didn't know much about reptiles until this channel & a couple others. I 💜 it here, so educational. I would love to help out with this Kamp.
Indiana native here too! I didn't live in the country but I loved catching frogs and toads that would come up to the house. I'm so glad my family liked animals so I could catch tadpoles and watch them grow up into frogs. I'm only jealous I can't provide amazing outdoor enclosures for my animals here up north.

I seen you on a video where you were working so hard , moving your tortoises , then noticed you work so hard daily, don’t know how you have energy to go on bike trip afterwards, for relaxation??? I agree with you kenan with getting the kids outside and to work. Kids today love their video games. I was 10yrs old when I had to start helping out on the family dairy farm. I didn't like but I grew to love working on a farm except in the winter lol that's when the "fun" happens especially when you live in Wisconsin where the weather gets -30 below. It builds a good work ethic and by the how's pancake doing so far since being back?

And my daughter complains because she has to walk 10 feet to the fridge and back to feed our 2 tortoises.
