Master Balachandran! A huge hello to you from Arizona!
I wanted to thank you for teaching me the adjustment methods which are seen in this video for the shoulder, elbow and wrist. I can not tell you how many times I have applied this on my students during training to release misalignments after the over application of a joint lock.
I truly look forward to my next opportunity of training with you again!

Kalari, it is the incredible art from Kerala, this is the best martial art system ever I have envisaged. This not only teaches the self defense, but it is a complete form of treatment system too. I have my own example to state here; I had a ligament tear where the doctors from Dubai advised me to undergo for reconstruction surgery. However, I knew that Kalari treatment can do wonders, so I just flown to my master Sudhakaran Gurukkal. Master treated me with his herbal medicines and now I am perfectly all right and still teaching martial arts. So, KALARI IS NOT JUST MERELY A MARTIAL ARTS ; IT IS A COMPLETE SYSTEM OF FIGHTING AND HEALTH MANAGEMENT INCULDING TREATMENT

Kalarippayattu was not created by Bodhidharma. It ages even back before him. Bodhidharma was a practitioner or Kalarippayattu and he modified/forged the martial art form to fit the needs of physical and spiritual maintenance of monks in the Shaolin Temple (the temple near/in the forest) into a new art form, Gongfu or rather Kung fu. The creator of Kalarippayattu is said to be Parasuraman who is a monk in Hindu Myth.

My country is Mother for so many cultures , religions, knowledge and Art,....
and we ourselves spread to this world and taught this world HOW TO LIVE PEACEFULLY and KIND TO ANIMALS ...
But today we Modern people of Bharath or Indians are learning our own ancient knowledge from foreigners ....
Thanks to our creepy caste system and Thanks to kings who ruled and ruined my country for their selfish wishes ....
At least now , the truth is being spread out ...

Good documentary but i disagree that martial arts started in any particular part of the world. Anywhere there has been people there has been fighting and where there has been fighting there has been a martial art.

U miss understood a little. Ur right everywhere people start fighting but it wasnt martial art. Just bloodshade and not actual effective. Martial arts is just the most effective method to subdue the enemy considering ethics and moral.
To bodhirama went to china: yes chinese already had martial arts like shui jiao(wrestle). But after bodhiramas visit it was depened like never before. Like principle of qi or accupressure points. So in short

Bodhirama was important to spread the depenes of MA. Ramm ur hand or a weapon in an enemy ist not exactly martial art
