- Following Ducati 848 and Kawasaki Zx10r on twisty roads. My riding was nervous watching the lines of the Zx10r
My first thought was to overtake from the insight but was risky so i decided to follow behind him and hope not to come a car or a bike from the opposite line. Of course we all think we are safe until the moment we crash , it just dont worth the risk.
Bike : Suzuki Gsx-R 1000 2009
I'm confused is the a closed road ?? or is a one way road ?? I've been riding sport bikes my entire life and im 46 years old and I've only seen someone riding into no look turns on the wrong side of the road because they miss judged the turn but it seems like the guy in front of you is riding like a complete twat! !
if it's a one way or a closed road I'm sorry but if it's not you should think twice about riding with him unless you don't mind seeing pieces of your friend on a grill of an oncoming car ... beautiful video but stupid friend
I did that once during my trip in the mountains - I passed a car into a blind turn. After what happened I felt bad about it for the rest of the trip. This guy is doing it like he doesn't give a shit...
cieslus1988 we all do dumb things when we have so much power at our wrist ,but he is not passing a slow moving bike or car he is just diving into blind mountain turns ,I've seen what happens to people when hit head on and it haunts me to this day ... you live and learn but with this person is doing will take the living part out of that equation... have fun on two wheels that's what life is all about to me but being able to do it day in and day out is the goal
46 yrs and riding sportbikes?' you are fvkin old..!!!!
I'll have half a century riding them if I make it to next March, he's just a lad :)
maybe he is fvking old but for sure You r fvikng stupid...what is wrong in 46 old riding the sport bike?
Is the Kawasaki rider still alive today?
ZX10r is an idiot. It takes more talent and control to stay in lane at the same speeds. I always make sure that when I'm cranked over that not even my mirrors never cross the line.
I agree with you. Ride safe and still have fun!!!
Jennifer O'Connor Jezdím lepší
Right. If you can't stay in your lane, then it's obvious that you are riding too fast for your skill level.
Chris Stratton woah looks like we got a street rossi in the chat
nice advise, thank you
I hate riding around guys like the one on the zx10 because their crash could ultimately lead to your crash
Hope you did give your buddy on the Ninja some friendly advise after the ride. :)
my opinion as well, he needed 2 lanes in every single curve to get through....terrible....
@@Igor12822 more like, risky
bruhhhhhh please be careful .. and tell ur friend on the green bike to stop cornering in oncoming lanes he would literally go head first if a car is coming
The other forces messing with the leanometer. Breaking, accelerating, vibrations. Need upgrade to adaptive leanometer.
You should change the title to ZX10R RIDER WITH A DEATH WISH .
Ask most car drivers and they will agree that zx10s make shitty hood ornaments .
Unless you a have bright green car... :D
hahahaha, very true, he was taking alot of risk, riding on the opposite lane.
where is this road?
alan scott wheres the idiots plate??
lol ask a car driver? everyone drives an car
you' re right
tell the idiots that at this speed, if there is someone or smthg on the other side, everybody ll die...
my biggest fear when i ride is facing an idiot crossing the line ( car or motorbike, the result is the same)
enjoy your ride
Trucks are even worse. You do not want to collide with them or have their rear tire squeezing the brain out of your mouth. Either you go to hell almost immediately or you have lots of pain and then go to hell :D.
Andreas Hoppe lol
if i have the choice, the quicker, the better!
but to be honest, that's the kind of choice i would like to avoid.....
Trucks are better, less likelihood of killing a bystander. And probably no additional risk of death.

If you have nothing to live for at least respect the lives of others.
This is pretty much the way I enjoy riding the twisty roads -- except for the lane crossing . I am 65 yrs old and still do Track Days once or twice a Summer. But on the street, no serious knee-dragging or drastic hanging off. BTW, when I am on the street, I always stay in my lane, even if it is 2 or more lanes in the same direction. Why 'reduce the challenge' when the Challenge is WHY I am THERE in the first place!?? Why "straighten out" a curve, when the curves are what brings me to the twisty roads..???
I ride pretty well for a 65 yr old with an artificial rt hip & lft knee, and a fractured back, and can keep up with most of the younger riders pretty well...even though I am on an FZ1 rather than a full supersport...and they are REALLY surprised when I take off my helmet at the rest stops or gas station and they SEE how old I am! (smile) But. like I said, I am not there to 'race' nor t be the first person to the end of the road... I am there to ENJOY the Ride! So, unless I am with a group of friends, I just ride at MY pace whether it is slower or faster than other riders. If they are riding faster and catch up with me from behind...I just wave them around when it is safe to pass. I MAY decide to 'chase them' for a while, just for some fun, or not... And the same if I pass someone else...if they decide to follow me for a while, I don't take it as a "challenge to my ego", I just keep riding MY ride...they are welcome to follow, stay at their current speed, or try to pass me back and keep going...
Your 65 years are talking... and I like it. Ride safe and enjoy sir.

Nice video. You feel like you're in cockpit. And the lean angle gauge makes it exciting because you know what angle this guy is in. Cool!
The positioning of the cam makes this vid look like an game on some really awesome game mod/ graphics engine. DAIM man..
wow, there are eratic unpredictable riders and then theres this zx10 rider.... you guys are very controlled and smooth on your side of the road and he is all over the road and going nowhere!!
this would be my last ride anywhere near that dude, he' s an accident waiting to happen!!!
I duno, POV dude takes some pretty questionable lines as well but that guy is next level
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍top
accident waiting to happen is exactly what I was thinking too, I was getting scared just watching that fool!
Ukg
Mmm
this is a 1 way road. these shots are taken on the main land of Europe where we ride on the right side of the road. seeing how the Kawasaki is the only one switching between the left and right lane it would mean that either all the other guys are riding on the wrong side or its just a 1 way road, ill go with the second option. the Kawasaki rider still isn't riding safe though as he could hit the back of a vehicle when coming out of one of those blind turns. the left side is for overtaking so thatll me mostly free thus safe for this type of riding.
This is Cyprus. They ride on the left lane. It looks like very early morning so no traffic.
@@Neoptolemus recognised the greece on the signs next to the road, didnt know cyprus road inverted. You learn something every day i guess
Never seen anyone ride like that. The only logical explanation i can find is that the zx10 and the guy in front both have mics and the other guy can tell the zx10 if the bend is clear or not.
It is a white line not a yelllow line wtf is wrong with you people how did anyone in this comment section pass their fucking driving test
@@tricktop9064 where i live yellow lines do not exist
I think someone was at the end of the road at the phone with the guy on the kawa.
I do not believe it is a two-way road (or it may just be that the road was closed) - a man can not be that stupid
0
SuperBike Racer
And no cars in all the vídeo? That day the kawa rider known something that you didn't..
Well it's at least not a one-way road. If you pause at for instance 5:56 you warning signs for the oposite direction. However not seeing a single car is a bit odd. Odd too if actually closed road, that the other bike in front don't use the full width. Driving like that on a two-way road is beyond stupid, so I can't believe it's real.
thinking the same. surely he has eyes at the entrance on the other end who is radioing in. the stupidity is otherwise ridiculous.
get away from the ZX10R rider, far away. riding behind him your gunna wear the wreckage and body
@SuperBike Racer : may i know what tires you are using? things i admire about you - your race lines, downshift before corners, throttle control and the level of patience riding behind ZX10 - please educate the guy before he have a really fucked up day :)
I understand why you were nervous.... The zx-10r is fuc.... scary!!! He will not ride like this for many years.....
The rider on the Zx10r has 3 choices if a vehicle comes around those blind corners.
1 : He goes over the side of the mountain
2 : He impacts with the guard rail or
3 : He has a head on
I love speed with a passion , i love cornering at high speed with a passion , however
it`s not a matter of going hard with the mindset that you are a good rider and can handle
any situation that you might come across .
(this is what is called a false sense of security)
To ride safely at high speed , you have to ride SMART , and have 100% focus on what you/your bike are doing . Always expect the unexpected .
(it will never be 100% safe , but neither is riding at 20 kph either)
I have been riding for forty years now , 90% on mountain roads , the only times i do the speed limit is when i am stuck behind slow traffic , passing is a matter of choosing the right moment and not giving in to temptation of passing when you know that it might be a little bit risky . (and believe me it can be tempting at times)
Always keep in mind when you find yourself in an accident situation , that you will usually will have a couple of seconds to decide your best course of action , grabbing a fistfull of brake is not always the correct course of action .
I started riding at 15 years old , out in the bush .
That is the key in my opinion , which is to start learning to ride out in the bush .
To be a competent rider you need to have control over the bike , not have the bike have control over you .
I could go on , but the bottom line is to ride fast , you need to think Smart and not take risks . (I know there is going to be some people that will comment that riding fast is not Smart) however a good rider that rides fast in the right environment is safer than a rider that has no idea at slow speeds .
I ride as fast a the environment and conditions allow .
20 years ago a driver pulled up beside me at the traffic lights and said i had a death wish .
Upto that point i had been riding hard and fast for 20 years .
Now i am into my 40th year of riding , still hard and fast , adjusting to my age , my reflexes
(which are still surprisingly good) and the environment / conditions .
But that AIRHEAD on the Zx10r in the video is in one word : Stupid
i love u man, so beautyfull vids u got here respect!!!
We have double lanes in AZ like this. Opposite direction 100 feet left. Mountain roads are like this in many places. Appears closed though.
Great rider. Stellar technique. Great throttle
well...truck is there in the corner and boom over with life
What kind of mount was used ? Is it for gopro?
the guy on the zx10..........typical riding of the slowest one in the group
+Multi3dmaster and typical stupid rider too...
exactly..
agreed the gsxr is much quicker and a outside line
lol still good though riding on the seat of his pants
wicked guys keeps it up👍😆
Agree zx10 really bad rider...danger for all
Exactly
u were driving with great passion n discipline but zx10r guy was like the belongs to my daddy........... awesome video
The zx10 guy is riding like he's on a track
LOL, I read that as "The zx10 guy is riding like he's on a crack"
+Chris L hahaha 😂
He rides towards the tomb.
BAZITUBE ,yep, track leading to hellfire .
the description is excellent, I couldn't tell it better.
Your lean angles are insane!!!!! You must have a ton of confidence in your tires and the bike setup!
It's a GSXR . . . nuff said.
I can only assume the riders were using Scala Rider headsets (or similar), with constant clear communication, highlighting left/right bends, hazards etc. I'd like to think so, otherwise there was definitely some very risky riding there, more so by half-a-head on the Kwak ZX10r. Nice clear video.
Courage or madness? Lol :))
I loved your video! I only have a rouser rs 200 that's all i can afford. Fan here in the philippines
RIDER AT THE MIDDLE WAS ASKIN FOR A DEATH CERTIFICATE.
I was on the edge of my seat the whole time watching the guy on the zx10r,i too own a zx10r.That road must have been closed theres no way this guy can be that lucky.but overall great riding, that road is a dream
Those roads look unreal! where is this?
Exactly my thought!
Malta I believe.
hello my friend...this is cyprus!!
lmao no way thats malta
It looks like a video game lol
Very good rider and very good video! Do you have any video of this road with oposite traffic coming?
hey whats up!
wtf I that Kawasaki rider
very bad driver .he makes u feel afraid, I advice you not make a ride with him
Yes I agree with u ,he needs to learn more , but he should the last one I mean on the rear like that he can watch and understand
Wish you always safe ride bro
Possibly one of the best sounding bikes on youtube. Cool.
The guy on the the kawa, what an idiot.
He cross the lines but is still slower than the duc, why he risk his life for that?
And if he crash, the risk is so high that u also crash.
U and ur friends wanna ride today and also tomorrow, so take the keys from the kawarider and throw them away.
The best for u, him and his family, ride safe guys ✌️
CBRrider ,keep the keys, throw away the kawa rider !
pakiaye lol😂
CBRrider .well said... less throwing key :)
He should be in prison for dangerous driving.
Yeaah - the ZX-10 rider was um... 'brave' - that said, even though you were monstrously speeding, that was some sweet riding
the 848 rider is quick
Take it to the track guys! It's not only about your safety (which the guy on the Kawa clearly does not care about), rather it's for the safety of all users of public roads.
where is your gopro mounted? I can never get angles like this with my gopro. I had it mounted to my helmet and then on the front tire fender but I cant capture the lean of the bike
Probably on top of the tank with a gimble. There are moments when you can see his shadow on the road and he isn't hugging the motorcycle as much but the GoPro footage never lifts up.
I love the sound of this beast.....love it...👆👍👍
It almost looks like he's working on hes right cornering for the track... but then on the street.
I mean you don't accidentally go on the wrong side 20 times in a row.
That guy on the ZX10 is scary. Glad you didn't try to pass him. Probably wouldn't have ended well. Good video!
zx10r guy using the opposite lane. still couldn't overtake the 848 guy. he has a death wish.
Yeah, so much lateral movement with no particular result...
I think he CAN but WON'T .the skill though are out of this world IF he is still alive
".... so i decided to follow behind him and hope not to come a car or a bike from the opposite line. "
You bet...! That was insane. (but great). Where is that road?
Great riding, except for the Kawa ofcourse. I hope he's alone when the shit hits the fan.
I don’t...
I was alone my second time and I wished someone would of been there to help me.
You learn the hard way.
I’m permanently disabled for the rest of my life.
excellent camera position, audio, video and riding! great job!
zx10 can not turn right well. lol
Great vid, SuperBike Racer! Please share with us where this is, and what road this is, to someday go there! I assume it's a one way road, from the way you guys were taking the lines. Thanks.
Good camera action , either the road has been closed one way and you lot know it or if not then your friend is a total pillock and should show respect to other road users !! Or ?? Are you gonna let us know ?? If road is one way then nice riding and some track days must have been had to ride like that ?
Just so you are aware: when that guy ahead of you hits a car head on... There will be a bike, a body, and a bunch of debris in the road that you could run into. There's a high chance that you will crash as well.
Best to stay far back, or far in front if you have to ride with that group.
Whats your lean angle indicator and gyro setup? They both are legit, and ur gsxr has a super smooth powerband! I like it!
Il n'a pas peur de se manger un frontal ton pote!
thepcatou oui!
can you please share with me how you made your gopro set up??i like this view
i hope that road is one way or zx10r is suicidal
Never ever assume when riding. If you can't see, don't risk into it. A tree branch, an animal, oil spill, fallen object from a vehicle, a broken down vehicle. You want to ride tomorrow, ride safe today. Peace. Motogp riders ride in controlled environment!!!
Awesome ride. That looks super fun! Nice smooth controlled turns, it's hard to stay in your lane.
Nice video, beautiful roads, and the absence of any other vehicles makes me wonder if the road was closed. Have fun, but please ride safe guys.
it looks like u got a couple of rear power slides on exit of some corners ?
what a feeling that must be ! , great control.
Very nice video. Others have made similar commentaries about "Captain Kawasaki". I quickly became distracted and wondered if he had a wife or kids and how upsetting the funeral would be! Also, if there ever were a road where all one needed was second gear, this was it!
Awesome video - definitely subscribed now!
What gyro stabilizer are you using? I'm shopping around, but am curious if yours is meant for motorcycles or if you had to do some DIY to attach it to the tank
SuperBike Racer Good deal - I'm still on the lookout for a decent gyro mount...seems they're out of stock
Thanks again for the awesome videos and the reply
Fantstic job ! Thanks for these superb picture. Where was it? ✌🏻️🏍
+SuperBike Racer - The position and view of the camera is good... may i know how you just got/did the set up !! ??
The guy with the Kawa is insane (or dead)...that is sure! But you two with the Duc were awsome. Cool vid. Take care!
Are you using a chestmount and/or a gimbal? the footage looks really great!
Yeeeea. That is awesome sound. I love your gsxr!!
No cars in the whole video, the guy on the Kawa knew something we don't. There is no way he was playing russian roulette the whole time like that.
My guess is someone was at the end of the road watching for cars entering the track. Kawa guy was on the phone hearing from the spotter.
@SuperBike Racer : Lovely setup dude. I love the gyro cam and the indicator in the middle. Can you point out what you are using? I m very much interested :)
awesome stuff man, ripping it up. love that road but that guy would make me nervous too though.
Great vid man!!!
Can you tell me whats the name of the cam base you use? How do you ask for it cause i cant find it! Thanks in advance!
can u tell me pls, what stabilizer you use? The video looks very good, without vibrations ore something.
Awesome making me want to go to Cyprus. Is there any good motorcycle rental companies you could recommend?
Bro what exhaust you got? Sounds bad ass! What mount for camera you got and microphone? Great riding by you and the other guy! But not the Kawa!
Call me what you want but, I don't understand all the hate for the guy on the kawi. Most of it was you guys crying about it being a two way road but none of you have evidence against it so thats out. Also, his lines are actually good lines. Sure he's crossing the paint several times but he always stayed behind the leader...if he wiped out he's going down solo. Seems to me like he was the better rider having as much fun as the leader allowed him to. Love this video though, angles and riding are perfect.
The title of this video was not misleading and I watched exactly what I expected. Thank you. There were two things I was surprised you didn't hit though. 1. An oncoming vehicle, and 2. an apex. If you are using both lanes, you should be able to hit an apex. Why couldn't you hit one?
may I know what is the thing you fixed on the handle bar?? seems like the degree of tiltness?? where did you mount your camera from? That's as good as the best view from a rider already
Witch GoPro you are using for this?
Is it mount on the Tank or Body? Its very nice to Watch!!
Can you give me this settings? I will record my drive on a Z1000.
You and the lead man are better at this blind cornering lark. The ZX10R rider is a bloody danger to all involved. What a knob!!
What an incredible road. Great! Where is it, please?
Nice vid! Was that section of the road closed off for you to make that video pls? I hope it was ... On the other hand, you know your road better than we do; I know my road and that allows some freeway ... YET!!
***** Thanks .... it is such professional stunt-like vid. Just be safe ok!
Where is this wonderful road? Igoumenitsa?Greece?
Thanks!! Gimbal is awesome!
sure as hell you boys are not going to make old bones still reckless as it is i enjoyed the video. Would love to see you do it at the isle of man nice and legal like , be safe . thanks for posting
do you use a go pro gimbal of some sort? if so which kind thats an awesome shot !
what I love about Suzuki. Regardless of race stats, take one out on the road with half decent rider and it just keeps up and wants to chomp the brands that rank themselves so highly....
Niiiice! Great video! Where can I purchase a gyro mount like that? Do you have a model number and brand? Thanks
I could not figure out where you mounted the cam !!! It looks like mounted on a gimbal fixed over the tank..LOL...please tell me where did you put the cam!
Beautiful ride and road . U were the only one on the lane lol. Where was this at?
The horizon does not move !!!! The camera does not tilt relative to the horizon.
Amazing video.
Congratulations!!! How did you do it?
Just curious what kind of the camera you use? it will auto balance the curve angel for the film. cool!!
Nice ride! Was the footage taken with gimbal? If so, was it original GoPro gimbal or some other brand?
Great video mate. Could u tell me what was the camera u used to record this? Thanks
Where did you get that lean angle indicator? Nifty!
Awesome ride!! Where is that place?? nice corners indeed!
Yeah im with you I NEVER take a blind corner
quite a good one but what meter is that?? is it for showing leaning angle or else???
Lean angle.
What TC system are you running? It seems to be working pretty nice.. Please give some feedback as i'm looking at different options for my Fireblade :)
love it man.. where did you put the GoPro?
zx10 rider is a hot contender for this years Darwin Award :)
Hmm i just came to think of something during this video. Is there perhaps any chance that the lines on the wind screen is related to lean angle?(If not, seems like a clever idea)*I noticed how the lines pretty much never goes under horizontal that's why i ask. I know its an old video but maybe it still has some traffic :)
