Hi David, it is indeed a SONY, here's a link to the black ones on Amazon - although the price seems to have gone up since I bought it last year. ow.ly/ewFQ303dTdn I've found them very useful for this sort of work, also for recording myself delivering speeches or workshops where I am some way from the camera. The batteries don't last long, though, so you need to change them regularly.
