Looks great! The only question I have is the one I have for any pack using the dual frame stay structure. Is it prone to barreling? As in, do you have to be super particular about how you pack it to keep it from rounding out into a giant cylinder or does it hold its shape?
We recommend being particular in how you pack any backpack, the CS40 Ultra included. With any backpack, you will be much more comfortable if you pack in such a way that the heaviest items are closest to your body, and so that any irregular shapes aren't right up against your back.
Sounds like the guy from my life outdoors.
Just pre-ordered mine!

Great question. Also curious. Hadn't thought about the frame in that way
@@Algorythmfpv yeah the Hyperlite packs have a similar construction and they’re notorious for this problem.

@@Away.Aweigh.A.Way.never had mine do that, the most comfortable UL bag I’ve ever owned is my Northrim 4400
Just preordered mine. Super stoked. Only question does it a accommodate a bear can up top?
Yes it does!
When’s a grey or black colored version coming out? I want to be oblivious of how dirty my pack is. Haha
We don't have plans for a different color at this time. We're not too worried about our packs getting dirty.
