I just did a pinterest shopping haul myself, but instead of thrifting I decided to splurge and got some local, ethical boutique items. Im trying to stop supporting the fast fashion industry, and thrift shops always have hidden gold! And a few boutique items really add to my style 🥰🥰 I spent too much but it was nice to support my community and treat myself at the same time
I’ve noticed, after watching multiple thrift videos, that the value villages in Canada are so different than here in the US (at least where I live) because by me, it’s a very cheap thrift store! Most things are anywhere from $0.50 to $6! Goodwill is the expensive thrift store here!
Yesss! I found a bag like that of Lincoln Logs at a garage sale for $1 a couple weeks ago and i had to get them for my daughter! I grew up playing with them and I love them!
i love this idea!! whenever i go shopping it’s so hard for me to figure out what i really need and then I end up not buying anything because there are too many options! definitely going to start doing this :)
When I was younger I absolutely LOVED playing with necklaces and purses. Give Eloise a couple swaddle blankets or a couple small blankets and she will be so happy. I can remember making everything from capes to baby slings to casts with them 😂
Love your thrifting videos! The blocks are called Lincoln logs! I used to have a whole tub of them 😊 great finds! I’ve been actually trying to dig when I go to the thrift stores and have found some good stuff!
OMG the wood things lego-like for Eloise, I had the SAME at my grandma house when I was a kid and I looooved it!! My cousin and I used to build houses for little plastic aninals and play for hours!
Have you thought about getting the large linen pieces altered to fit you? If you find a good seamstress they can work wonders! ... also those logs are such a great find :)
You always score! Unrelated but can you upload some links (under commonly asked items in your description box) to items: -the stand Eloise uses to cook with you -your new play mat/rug! -theo’s swing/bouncy chair Thanks a ton!
I spray my thrifted shoes with lysol and then some kind of "thievesie" essential oil cleaner...I figure if I kill the top germs and then get a nice coating of essential oils in there to soak in, it will really kill everything short and long term. I have never gotten a toe fungus or warts or anything from thrifted shoes. Sometimes I just use essential oil cleaner LOL
My Mom loves linen things. She has made several pieces but she always seemed to find cute linen tops and vests. She also had several linen skirts. Apparently according to her research linen is very healing to the body and is a dream to wear the more you wash it the softer it gets. She made me a linen pillowcase before she passed away.
Ive been following you for about a month now, I'm in love with your videos!!! Your little family is so adorable💕 I stay tuned to all you videos and I love them all!!
I have been on the hunt for linen shirts for a while because I just really love the quality and the look. Ps I don't skip the ads to support your family :)
Those are called Lincoln Logs. They're such a fun toy and so good for fine motor skills and attention to detail. Eloise will get to play and create without the goal of impressing anyone, which is so good for building creativity. Good find, mom!!
Hi Deliah, I love your videos. I'm a thrifting girl at heart too! In the UK we don't have large outlets selling secondhand/vintage clothing. We instead have lots of small charity shops. I do wish we had places like value village, there always seems to be so much stock! Much love, Abbie x
You are such a blessed and beautiful soul! keep doing what you are doing, the Lord seems to put you in the right place.i love how your love shines through the Videos.
This might be so weird to say but I LOVE watching your videos when I’m pumping. In general too but your videos make the task, something to look forward to!
Love the thrifting videos! If you would enjoy making more I definitely would not be opposed(; love to see what you can come up with for home decor! Thrifting can be so fun or so hard
I LOVED THIS SO MUCH. I miss thrifting it was a weekend event back when I lived in the states 💔😭you are taking me back! (Also the way your mum looks at Theo ❤️❤️❤️❤️) sending love from the U.K.! xx
I just went thrifting a couple days ago with my baby boy. At the start of this video I was wondering how you were going to manage. I was glad to see another mom struggling to hold a wobbly baby and shop at the same time. Haha.
I know I’m like 9 months late but if you are trying to thrift basic leather belts for high waisted wearing look in the little boys dress clothes section. I’ve found that larger children’s belts are the perfect side for a high waisted belt.
there is another way to get the looks you want...get linen fabric and find a cheap good seamstress....I have a lovely linen waiting for me to decide what i want to turn it into
You’re too cute. Love the shoes you found, I have a hard time finding shoes at the thrift store that aren’t worn out already. You might want to look for more Lincoln Logs if you only found that one bag. I found some at a garage sale and got some from a relative for when my son is old enough. He’s only six months now.
Love this video! And the thumbnail!! Oversized clothes is a new trend recently, but unfortunately for me they always just make me look frumpy ☹ I hope you never feel like you don't have a choice about TH-cam, btw. Your health should always come first!
They are lincoln logs LOL I grew up playing with those at my house and at my grandparents house :)
Lincoln Logs indeed. They were a Christmas present when I was young ( long time ago ) and provided many hours of fun. Great memory.
I wonder if they’re called something different in Canada (if I’m not mistaken she’s Canadian?... or maybe I’m totally making that up in my head lol)!
@@sofapop653 Trudeau Logs !
John McNaught haha.
Same here, I'm from Wisconsin and I grew up playing with them and I believe we might still have some around the house somewhere. :)
If it’s not too personal are you able to link your Pinterest name? I just adore your style and would love to use it as inspiration ☺️.
YES ! This would be a great idea !

Cute idea. I have zero sense of style. Idk why I've never thought to pin outfits and find them in a store. 😂
