Amy Lynn u can also buy them after Christmas when they go on sale for 70% and just save them for next Christmas. Thrift stores are really expensive around my area. I find that I buy new stuff on clearance for cheaper than I could get them at thrift stores.
You displayed some serious self control!! If I traveled that far for thrifting, I would have justified buying everything I saw just because of the distance!!! 😅 very fun!
I absolutely LOVE that you're talking more about sustainability and ethical shopping. That's always been the one thing that I've wanted you to talk about a bit more and now you're doing it I'm so excited because it's so important. Well done, I think you might be the coolest mum online
I'm currently visiting family in Florida and the amount of cool thrift stores that are around is so amazing. I don't even want to go to the beach I want to go thrifting 😂
Kat P me too. I know all the ones up one highway and down another. My favorite antique store must have been leveled by a hurricane. So sad. Never bought much but loved the furniture and artwork. I ship all my new "summer wardrobe" home. Cheaper than another suitcase on the plane. Plus I travel with a disabled person and ship all our luggage. One small carry on.
I love how the little ad was like a real old school ad!!! So clever! 💙💙💙💙💙 made me giggle! Relatively New subscriber, love your content and relaxed vibe!
I honestly adore you and wanna be like you. I live for your new videos and I always find myself inspired by you: to be a better wife, to be a better mum, to start searching for God in my life. I commented a few days ago on your Instagram on how I didn't like you at first. But now I do. I do so much. Keep doing what you do! ❤️
Love these thrift hauls, you find the best items 💙 My son is 4 days older than Theo, I love watching them both grow and the similarities between them! I also breastfeed and have so many common interests as you so I get so much joy seeing a new video posted by you! Keep on keeping on, mama!
P.s. keep the shoulder pads until you wear it awhile to change your mind! Even if you decide you want them back you can always sew them back in - but it's a very sophisticated look for you!
I'm in Bismarck (the capital of ND) it's a couple hour south of minot. If you ever make it this far, seeds of hope thrift shop is worth a stop! They have a room, where you stuff a grocery bag for $1, on fridays it's free. And then daily deals. Also a handful of other thrifts too! Most help out with people with disabilities, abused adults, foster kids...etc
Did you make it to the foundry? My sister sells all sorts of adult to children's/babies crochet goodies. Also blankets etc. So cool to see videos of places I've been while visiting her!
Im early again! Also, the amount of things you can find in a thrift store is remarkable. Sadly where i live...i can't seem to find any thrift stores 😂 anyway God bless you and your family. ❤💕
I love thrift stores! I remember when I went to Oregon for a wedding I stopped by one to look for souvenirs for my family. My brother is a die hard Godzilla lover so I came across a Godzilla figurine for $15, he we placed with a bunch of dinosaur toys but I knew who he really was. Apparently whoever ran that shop didn’t know that he was a more rare figure and worth way more than $15 but he has a place in my brothers room now!
That would be soooo much fun to go on a thrifting road trip! And I hear ya on the value village thing...it’s disappointing that there’s so much there that’s close to new prices 🤦♀️ I’ve also seen lots of items that cost more than new! Hopefully they’ll work out a better pricing system in time 🤷♀️ Great haul thou. I’ve also started thrifting Christmas items 🎁 So much fun!
Melissa and Doug are one of my favourite toy brands! Plantoys are great too! We have lots of the two at the daycare I work at. Once I have kids, my goal is to have very few plastic toys, I love wooden toys and I want loads of books and soft toys (I LOVE stuffed food).
I live here in Fiji & almost every second store here is a thrift shop.. I love thrifting! I just wish our thrift stores were as beautiful as the ones you guys have... Love this video❤
When I was watching the intro I was like those look like the thrift stores where I live and sure enough you said you came to Minot!! That’s so cool! You should of done a meet and greet!
Leave the shoulder pads in 😂 I always used to hate them because the generation older than me would make fun of them. Now that I’m thrifting more I’ve noticed it’s actually very flattering for my body type.
Love the sweater and socks you got at the first thrift shop as you re-entered Canada. The board with the pegs is a coatrack. It just is not the style that stands on the floor. My coatrack sits on the entryway wall above the umbrella stand and has hooks with cubby holes above them for gloves and hats. It is still a coatrack. The vase and plates you got are beautiful. Do you find it is worth the gasoline to go out thrifting in this manner over distances for a weekend away? I realize there was a social piece to the trip with your mother and sister. Otherwise, is it cost-effective due to gasoline, meals, somewhere to stay?
Oh man! I was just up in Minot! When you mentioned going to the states I was curious if you would be going to North Dakota! Did you happen to see the leutefisk church supper?
What materials are those sweaters made of? Wondering if thrift stores have more cotton or wool sweaters available than normal stores. I feel like most sweaters at normal stores are acrylic.
I wish we had this in England. We have charity shops, but they haven’t got much in my local towns usually xx love you videos and you have a lovely family xx
I live in Rapid City, South Dakota and I was looking at the map trying to figure out where in Canada would be closest to me to go thrifting, like which towns. Where should I hit up per your recommendation? I’d be going straight north basically!
Looks like US thrift stores are the same as Australian op-shops. They're always unique and interesting, but MAN do I wish we had some like you do in Canada!! Those are like thrifting heaven!!
Loved this video! We will also be thrifting Christmas presents! We will have a new baby this Christmas and I have told everyone to hold off on presents as we have so many toys and clothes from our first!
I just went thrifting and found a beautiful coat! I am so happy! However, considering all thrift stores in Amsterdam are for tourists, prices start at 20$ :((
Keep the shoulder pads. You're lucky to find them now that they're in again. They flatter your small shoulders too. I love finding them. I have small shoulders too and I absolutely love 'em.
The shoulder pads look kind of good, actually. You are so petite that you can totally pull it off! Great haul - impressed with sweet little Theo for his patience on a thrifting trip :-).
How does one shop for the myk cleaning and laundry products? I have tried to contact them through the link in the description box but it’s taking me nowhere.
I used to make handmade pottery for a company, the reason that pottery is so expensive even thrifted is the time it takes to make it. A small pot new is 30-50... so $8 is a great deal
It’s so hard to find good kids books at the thrift store or at least at the ones near me. The board books specifically are always gross and ripped to shreds.
Jonathan & Abby If you have a Once Upon A Child nearby, their stuff is usually in a lot better shape because they buy it instead of having it all donated!!
I love that you’re buying your kids’ Christmas gifts second hand. It’s crazy how many perfectly good toys you can find at the thrift store!
Yes, it is a blessing! Almost every clothing item i buy is from the thrift store and most of them are better quality and a lot cheaper!
😅 very fun!
A thrift road trip yess i need people in my life that would be down for that!
jits & kids me too!

Awwww thank you!
It makes me so happy that you're starting to be more aware environmentally especially since you do so amazing with being thrifty
I love how the little ad was like a real old school ad!!! So clever! 💙💙💙💙💙 made me giggle! Relatively New subscriber, love your content and relaxed vibe!
Love this! I am trying to be more sustainable in the way I shop, it’s a big learning curve but these videos are so good and encouraging 💖
Those plates, bowls and cups at 0:51 are so nostalgic for me because my family had those as a kid! Holy cow they are expensive though!!
I honestly adore you and wanna be like you. I live for your new videos and I always find myself inspired by you: to be a better wife, to be a better mum, to start searching for God in my life. This is what I love about you. You're so practical and down to earth. I also love thrifting.

Thrift haul video's are how I found your channel a year ago! Love love love 💕
Can I just say how much I love your channel, your style, your personality and your beautiful family 😍
I am always so so happy when you upload

Everything in the thrift stores and everything you got were so nice!! I wish there was more thrift stores in my area
Oh my gosh!!!! Star struck!!! I live in Minot North Dakota! 😍😍😍
your sister peeking behind you in that mirror shot was SO cute! 😚 wish we had thrift stores here 🙄🙄 loved this video as per usual! lots of love 💕
I love that you upload early so I have something to watch before my girls wake up while I sip my coffee
This is JUST what I need in my life right now!!! Thanks Delilah!
Melissa and Doug are one of my favourite toy brands! Plantoys are great too! We have lots of the two at the daycare I work at. Once I have kids, my goal is to have very few plastic toys, I love wooden toys and I want loads of books and soft toys (I LOVE stuffed food).
I've just now watched a couple of your videos and I LOVE YOU!!! you are so cute and dainty!
I wish they had Value Village in Louisiana 😩 all we have is goodwill basically 😫
I live here in Fiji & almost every second store here is a thrift shop..
I love thrifting! I just wish our thrift stores were as beautiful as the ones you guys have...

the baby jean overalls omg!!! so cute! 🤗🤗🤗
Please share the process of your capsule wardrobe!!!! I want to make one so bad but I’m struggling with wear to start
You have just inspired me to check out some thrift stores for Christmas gifts!
Omg lalaloopsy! I was obsessed with that when I was little.
Oh man! I was just up in Minot! When you mentioned going to the states I was curious if you would be going to North Dakota! Did you happen to see the leutefisk church supper?

Loved everything! We also thrift for Christmas. 🎄 I need to go on a thrifting road trip, sounds so fun!!
I wish we had this in England. We have charity shops, but they haven’t got much in my local towns usually xx love you videos and you have a lovely family xx
Cute video! Just wondering where you got your glasses and if they're prescription??
I live in Rapid City, South Dakota and I was looking at the map trying to figure out where in Canada would be closest to me to go thrifting, like which towns. Where should I hit up per your recommendation? I’d be going straight north basically!
What made you decide to wear only neutrals? Do you ever miss bright colors and fun patterns?
Looks like US thrift stores are the same as Australian op-shops. They're always unique and interesting, but MAN do I wish we had some like you do in Canada!! Those are like thrifting heaven!!
the things you said are cropped just look like a normal length to me. but I like most of them. the sweaters are great
I'm from Saskatchewan!!!! This makes me so happy!
Any advice on how you store all these beautiful, poofy sweaters? They take up so much space 😂
hang them up together, hang the hanger off another hanger, etc, if that makes sense? :)
I don’t have a lot of clothes so they all fit in my closet!
I may have to buy some of that laundry detergent for the new baby due in a few months 💕💕
I love all your knitted cardigan. I wish I could wear that kind of outfif here but Im from Malaysia and here always summer😅
Loved this video! We will also be thrifting Christmas presents! We will have a new baby this Christmas and I have told everyone to hold off on presents as we have so many toys and clothes from our first!
Is your grey sweater thrifted? I need it! What's the brand?
Congratulations on the sponsorship!!🎉 Also, KEEP the shoulder pads!! They look really good on you! (This is coming from a 24 year old, btw).
Love your glasses. Where are they from?
I just went thrifting and found a beautiful coat! I am so happy! However, considering all thrift stores in Amsterdam are for tourists, prices start at 20$ :((

I love thrifthing and I love your videos so this is perfect! 😍
Shoulder pads are EVERYTHING 😎🖤🖤🖤
I’m so jealous, where I live there aren’t any thrift shops🙈
I’m working on my capsule wardrobe too!
Love the style.
Xo
How does one shop for the myk cleaning and laundry products? I have tried to contact them through the link in the description box but it’s taking me nowhere.
I like thrift hauls❤️
You are literally my favourite person ever!!! X
I used to make handmade pottery for a company, the reason that pottery is so expensive even thrifted is the time it takes to make it. A small pot new is 30-50... so $8 is a great deal
I am obsessed with this 😍
Those sweaters are beautiful!
These are my fav videos from you ❤️
Those plates are so lovely! They remind me of a speckled chicken egg!
WHAT BRAND IS THAT DELICIOUS GRAY SWEATER YOU ARE WEARING??
Nice video 💕 I love that your were mindful with your shopping 💐
And yes remove the shoulder pads please hehe you’ll see it will look much better
So sad you visited Minot and I didn’t run into you. I live on the airforce base in Minot 💕
Same
The shoulder pads actually look really good lol
That bomber jacket 😍😍😍😍😍
Was waiting for this video!! 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
1 USD = about 1.3 Canadian dollars, for reference. ☺️
Excited, thanks for the upload ✌🏼
I actually LOVE shoulder pads, haha. I think it gives a really nice silhouette :)
Minimalist mommy😍😍🥰
I love the shoulder pads! I think you should leave them on!!☺️
Not really sure how to navigate the link you posted for myk+....pops up in Chinese and very disorganized. :/
yay yay yay i love these so much ❤️
Great jacket!
Lalaloopsy used to scare the shit out of me😂😂
Probably because they look like the characters in the movie Caroline
I dont think I caught it but what thrift stores did you go to, which one did you actually find most of your finds?
Emalie Krieger Minot, ND.
You were in Minot, I've been watching you for years and would of loved to meet you

It’s so hard to find good kids books at the thrift store or at least at the ones near me. The board books specifically are always gross and ripped to shreds.

Do you have a pinterest? new subscriber here :)!
1:40 How old is your sister? She looks younger than you. Love the video! 💕
"Myk" means soft in danish
It means dirt and haven’t been used In Denmark for centuries. Soft is blød.
Marie Hoel-Hansen Myk meaning soft is norwegian
Ops
Dont cut out the shoulder pads on the black cardigan;) they are barely even noticeable, yet add a special kind of subtle elegance
fun fact! myk means soft in norwegian and danish :)
Really love your video❤
