I saw another reviewer put in a lot of settings to reduce the jitters and it helped. High shutter, high iso, EV -0.7, lower sharpening. It was insane the difference. But the gimbal footage is great!
This blows my mind! Using a mobile gimbal with an action camera, and using a gimbal that has it’s own tracker so you can use other devices other than a smartphone. I love this idea.

for that you would need to get a seperate action camera gimbal accessory. They are fairly cheap tho and available on amazon. The brand doesnt really matter

To see if it improves the stability of the image, and eliminates the nervousness when focusing on objects and landscapes. Do you just use the original clip/mount of the gimbal? No other accessories? With tracker and fill light, I think this is a great companion for action cameras.
Do you think this gimbal would work better if mounted on a Ace Pro 2? That way you can still look at the flip screen from behind. But I don't know if the cell phone clips still land on the right locations.
How are you able to track an animal with the action camera? I’m looking at the Insta360 Ace Pro 2. It has a 2X zoom built into the camera. Do you think it would be able to track an animal in a wooded area?
I dont think so because you need to use app if you want to track anything else than people, because if you want to track people with camera ( no phone) that person has to make that OK sign with hands so maybe it will be capable off tracking monkey if you teach the monkey to do ok sign :D
Hi, I just got the v3 but when I tried to put my Action 5 Pro on it and turn the gimbal on, it just kept vibrating. I mount it the same way as you do. Do you think what possibly causes this issue?
@@RobHK Thanks for your reply. So you setup doesn't vibrate at all when powered on? thinking if I should wait for the vibration to come to a stop guessing the vibrating may be the process of calibrating the balance automatically...
Didn’t have any vibration issues no. Now i also switched to the iSteady M7 which has a live preview on the remote itself which makes it easier to see what i frame👌
Is this hohem isteady 3 works proberly with DJI action osmo 5pro. I mean can you start recording via gimbal start button or gimbal aplication start button. Thank you.

It has a lot of filming options to help professionals match footage with other cameras they are using in a production. Also the ruggedness needed be a pro action cam. It's main purpose is not to be a gimbal vlogger, but with this setup it can do that too.

You can tap to get into selfie mode ye and the gimbal will not be visible :)

you can also put the clamp on the bottom of the camera which then gives access to the front and rear screens

Does the Bluetooth work with the osmo action 5pro. I know the hohem iSteady 4 pro you can't connect as its only for go pro.

It seems the clamping mechanism is not good enough for action cams.
Its solid, and you can also just use a rubber band if you gonna use it at some speed

Not sure, but sounds like a balancing issue. Try adjusting it a bit👍
