The Action 4 would allow you to set the ISO range from 100-400 but the Action 5's lowest ISO range setting is 100-800 , this really limits me when I shoot with an ND and a fixed shutter speed.
Hi is the 8bit vs 10bit really that difference? Im working in somewhat indoor sometimes low light. And i dosent have any problem with my dji mini4 pro What do you think of the log image in highlights, shadow, and noise of both camera? Im confused about geting the dji action 5 or ace pro, i really into cinematic super wide angle and stable videos
Hey! Nice video...I'm curious regarding the mtb footage. Did you use ND Filter? Did it affect the Rocksteady stabilization? Also, I'm waiting for the Boost Lens, can we use this lens with the ND Filter? Thanks!
Thanks! Yes, ND32 was used for the mtb footage. It affected rocksteady a bit, but i wouldn't say too much. Just make sure it's properly (and tightly) attached to the helmet or whatever you stick the camera to, so it won't move around too much.
4:07 looks so good, is this the least wide it goes? vs when ur videos of the mountain bike? as mention I'm trying to do more cinematic stuff vs extreme sports (although that will be included in my videos) but for the sit down cinematic stuff, more movie vibes, I think the least wide might make most sense - wondering whats possible with the action 5 pro In ur recommendation?
Great video! What is the conversion LUT you use? I see the Supremacy LUT is your creative one, but you mentioned a conversion and I’m curious if there is a separate one.
Hi, I've just purchased 2 Dji osmo action 5 pro cameras, 1 for the front of my bike and another for the rear. I want to loop record my journeys on them, just like I do with my car dash cam. I want to be able to just press record and not worry about it running out of space. I want it to record until it runs out of space on the sd card and starts to overwrite the oldest recordings. Basically I need it to continuously record without stopping. Please can you explain to me what I have to do to achieve this? Regards, Kiri
Hey there! Just watched your video on the DJI Osmo Action 5 Pro and I'm stoked to learn all these tips and tricks. The bite mount is a game-changer for POV shots - I'll definitely be trying that out. Also, I'm gonna give your D-Log M LUT a whirl to see if it can add that extra cinematic touch to my footage. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
hey so im looking to create more cinematic film shots with my action pro 5 I don't understand filters and lenses but I'm learning I live in a very sunny climate and will be shooting with lots of natural light IS it worth me getting a nd filter you think? (I try make videos like cinematic, a24 aesthetic, soft glow, warm - rather than full on action cam extreme sports vibe, less of a need for wide angle)
@DroneSupremacy Thanks for the reply! I've been playing around with the D-Log M LUT and I'm really impressed with the results. It definitely adds a more cinematic look to my footage, especially when I'm shooting in low-light conditions. I think I'll be using it for most of my future projects. Thanks again for sharing it!
Yes you can! You have 3 options when shooting Timelapse - Video (saves your timelapse as a compiled video), Video + JPEG or Video + RAW. So you always have the compiled video no matter what but you can also tweak your RAW photos too if that's what you prefer :)
Hey, dope video! Thank you for your tips and tricks. Btw can you clarify if you use ND filter with 25fps and 1/50 shutter speed with rocksteady your video will jitter? I saw many videos that ND filter with rocksteady doesn't work. Thanks in advance!
Need your help. It's my first action cam. Use it for golf. What is the other 10 bit option. HLG? What is the difference between those 3 10 bit normal, HLG and D log ?
HLG is kinda like a HDR profile, it's best to be used in situations where you have a lot of difference between the shadows/highlights in the image such as sunrise/sunset. The camera will work its magic to evenly light up all areas in your shot, resulting in an overall better-lit image. It's not something which I use on a regular basis though, as it kinda looks a bit fake IMO. I'd stick to Normal/DLOG-M personally.
@@DroneSupremacy thanks for this ! I will try HLG on the golf course to see how it looks. One last question. would you recommend the auto 10 bit Vs the HLG? I am asking because I don't know if I can be bothered to change colour tones in post for Dlogm. Thanks again !
Nice video ! Your footages looks really good . But I've seen so many people on reddit complaining about the Action 5 quality for fpv shots that I don't really know what to do. Go pro 13 looks nice too.. what do you think ?
Can you please confirm that on the action 5 both screens show live display simultaneously *while recording video* at 4k120 (and if not, at 4k60)? This was a limitation on the action 4 and I cannot find if this was fixed.
Hi from Greece too here :) Did you notice some worst colorgrading results due to smaler bitrate video files the action 5 has now compared with the action 4 ? ....30fps has only 50mbps now and maxs out at 100 mbps in 120fps ... Action 4 was 130 mbps in 120 fps
I haven't noticed any issues with the smaller bitrate videos, it actually looks better quality than Action4, despite the lower mbps. Must be some kind of codec difference .

@@DroneSupremacy Ah understood, I was thinking to try get some kind of black mist / diffusion filters but they don't have any for dji osmo action 5 pro but maybe I could make my own makeshift adaptor or something
I had no idea the dog would be there, otherwise I would have taken a pet mount with me, it was insane! Doggie was always running after his owner even on the steepest trails 🔥🔥🔥
@@DroneSupremacy Looks like you've got more features now. DJI just released new firmware yesterday (Firmware Version: 01.00.07.30). Includes slow-motion videos at up to 960fps and a bunch of other new features. Would love to see the 960fps when you get a sec. 🤔
The Action 4 would allow you to set the ISO range from 100-400 but the Action 5's lowest ISO range setting is 100-800 , this really limits me when I shoot with an ND and a fixed shutter speed.
Seriously? What an oversight by DJI 🤦♂️
I just watched the intro, and your video and settings will be my reference when the cam arrives this week :D
Awesome video and quality :)
Awesome to hear! Thank you very much!
Great video as always my friend!!!
Appreciate the tips bro, it’s my first dji action camera so it helps! Also, those tshirts better be dropping soon
I got you bro! And yeah the shirt is coming this week! 🔥 Thanks for the support 🙌🏼
Same here! Enjoy yours!
Great video! who makes that bite mount that you showed in your video?
This one was by GoPro, but it doesn't really matter, they all work the same
The jetski clips look amazing! Those were all filmed with the bite mount?
Yep!
Thanks for the video. I just bought the supremacy lut. 😁
Hope you enjoy it!
@@DroneSupremacy thanks. I think I will. Going to use it today. 👍

@@DroneSupremacy Good to know! Looks great

The standard one from DJI’s website! It’s pretty good
