EVs are a scam, making a few rich. The damage to the planet to create the batteries far outweighs the benefits, if there are any. No fossil fuels, no plastics - no food storage, no car bodies, no medicine bottles, no cosmetics, no grooming products, no lightweight eyeglasses, no printers….. the list goes on and on. Not to mention that EVs won’t stop solar flares affecting the moon’s orbit.
Oh but we can afford to pay off student loan bailout from deadbeats to encourage more votes for a certain party. We afford to pay for food stamps, state welfare, SSI benefits, cell phones, housing and health care for millions of illegal immigrants, and now Stacey Abrams wants us to pay for college as well. And we can pay for 87,000 new armed IRS agents to ensure we pay our taxes to fund all of this.
While we can't afford is fuel for our cars, rent/mortgage payment, food and prescriptions of our own.
And we can't afford to fund any public safety or border patrol agents to do what they were hired to do.
This is what a one party rule or Democrat looks like. This is the definition of a democracy. In a democracy THE MAJORITY RULES.

Mid air recharging batteries ( if ever even possible) would take hours given energy transfer rates and the fact that the batteries continue to draw down power while still recharging..A 5 hour mission could take weeks at least.
Not to mention batteries bursting into flames from over heating etc.

By the way, rather than ratcheting up interest rates to extreme levels, which may or may not happen, and tightening the money supply to bring down inflation, we could take a play out of Reagan’s playbook - cut taxes, reduce regulation and increase the supply of goods and services rather than solely focusing on demand destruction and all the pain that entails for American families, especially those with low or modest incomes. A balanced approach with some tightening combined with increased supply would be a better option but that will never happen with Democrats in control.

A few inches of snow and below average freezing temperatures shut down the entire grid for the state. Over 700 people lost their lives as a result. The state replaced 18-20% of the power generation with wind/solar. The damage to the windmills took months or longer to repair.
Imagine an east coast snow storm that drops a foot of snow then an inch of ice on top of that. Solar and wind would be completely useless for days of even weeks in subzero conditions. No battery backup would last more than 3 days. What then? Or a regional hail storm that takes out a 100 acre solar array. Depending on the weather is as predictable as the weather.
These people need to be illuminated for the good of society before it's to LATE.
