Fun build! I picked this kit up after watching you built it. :)
I'd dig seeing you paint these. I have an idea of what I'll try but it'd be cool to see what you do.

Could also call it a super space Dorito.
Neat little movie fact Lucas used Leggs lady nylons that came in a container shaped like an egg for the 3 main engines on the Star Destroyer. Just gives you something to base how big the final model was that they used during the 3 original movies.

That roof rack was the conning tower and the ball thing were the shield generators

You have 4 days to paint it as Derptopian Death Star for the Derptopian group build

You should try Gundam kits by bandai (don't glue those)

Cool. I really like these smaller models of gigantic fictional spacecraft.
One question- on the Star Destroyer, what's that black bit in front of the housey bit? Looks like a gigantic insect is trying to burrow into it.

I just looked up the kit and what I belive you are talking about, wasnt on any of the other unpainted kits. So my only conclusion to that question has to be that it's nothing important. Maybe a factory mistake

I'm pretty sure hte black bit is lint or something off my hoodie that I was too exhausted to notice while I was filming it.

Wouldnt it be good if you kept some parts unglued so it would be easier to paint later? Like for instance, the interior of the death star.

Nah. It's not likely I'll be doing anything detailed on the inside of the death star. That would be a good idea if there was going to be different colours in there, but it's probably just going to be gray sprayed in there, and maybe some drybrushing on the more visible ares.

Maybe you should have put the name stickers on the stands after all, since by 14:15 you had forgotten the names and called the Star Destroyer the Death Star. Also the Star Destroyer scale is 14500th scale, not 4500th as you stated several times. What a Herbert!
Seriously though, nice review and I'm now tempted to buy that kit. Well, not THAT kit obviously, that one is yours, but another kit just like it.
