Welcome back to SLUURPs FIRST LOOK series. Today, we are going to be going in-depth on Disney's Encanto 2 (2022) Disney’s latest animated movie takes us into the world of the Columbian family of Madrigal who are gifted with magical powers. Beyond the strong streaming performance, Encanto has dominated music charts around the world, setting records in the UK. Encanto is the first animated film soundtrack in U.K. chart history to simultaneously chart three songs in the Top 10. The collection already made history when “Bruno” became the first original Disney number to lead the chart.
So with all this success, we are left with one question. Are we getting an Encanto 2? The truth is there is a high chance we’re expected to see this in the near future so today on SLURP, we are giving you an exclusive FIRST LOOK at Zootopia 2.

It didn't do well in theaters, not because it was bad, but because of Covid. A lot of people were still staying home. This why it blew up on Disney+. People could watch it from the comfort of their own home. I feel that if they released it at a later time, it would have done great!
Theater releases aren’t the big thing anymore! It’s big anyway. Disney will milk it’s popularity anyway they can get!
Nevertheless this guy was stooopid for bringing up the almost redundant point that it did poorly in theatres exactly like other theatrical releases and this comment answered it succinctly perfectly

The soundtrack is what makes the movie so good, so I would prefer the sequel that has a soundtrack as good as the first one.
I feel like a small size series based on each episode based on character would be cool

What I would want them to do, rather than copying the plot like most Disney sequels, would be making it a bonding movie. In Encanto we see how broken the family is and how everyone relies on their gifts because of Abuela and what not. I'd like to see, rather than this huge plot or villain or something, a simple family bonding. So much was broken and so many of them were misunderstood by the family or the community. I also think we need some songs about Dolores and Camilo. Maybe even something like Pepa and Felix's side of the family helping Pepa with her emotions. And basically just everyone righting all the wrongs that were made and "fixing all the cracks" Bruno was also gone for so many years and probably most misunderstood beside Mirabel, so he most likely has a lot of things to catch up on with the family and he also deserves a couple, I don't know- APOLOGIES?? Anyway yeah. That's my idea. Thank you for coming.

@@currencyballs What do you think about some raiders coming to the village again and being dealt with but in the process Abuela dies and they damage the candle switching everyone's powers up confusing everyone and making the family have to sit down and discuss the do's and don'ts of their powers and what they had to do to control them as a bonding moment?
If an Encanto 2 happens, I would love for the Abuela Pedro to be alive. I kind of looked like he was captured. I know it’s a long shot but that would be good for him to find his family.
Biggest Plot Twist of 2024? They'd have my vote
If we are looking at a future time where Abuele Alma has since died, if Pedro was simply captured, he would be dead by now anyway, if for no other reason at all, then simply because time has passed he continued to age, and simply reached the end of his life. That said, if Casasita was the reincarnation of Pedro as the story stated, then for his soul to move from his human body to now being incarnated as a sentient house, that would imply he stopped using his human body, that he passed from his human life. That he, in simpler terms, he did die. That those men did kill him right then and there.
I would be so happy if they decided to make an Encanto 2! And I don’t mind while way it’s gonna go. I think it would be amazing no matter what!

I personally think Encanto is good on it's own, all the conflicts were solved in the first film and there's not any need for a sequel, still, if Disney decides to go through with it, they'll have my full support.
I don’t mean to hate or anything this is my point of view. So, conflicts we’re solved but most people like camilo, pepa, fèlix, and agustín didn’t have much screen time and their own conflicts for us to solve, which is why they’re thinking of producing a show so then each character gets and equal amount of screen time and whatnot.

Bruno should have a kid with a gift who’s having issues with his gift and runs away. Abuela should die in this. Mirabel takes over the candle for abuela. Mirabel and the family venture to find Bruno’s kid to bring him back home. The further they are away from home they are losing their powers. They go on wild outside adventures Luisa runs into stuff too heavy, Isabella learns and tries to control wild plants, Camilo shapeshifter into animals, Antonio learns trouble of the animals outside the Encanto

Store line pitches: they have to remain ambiguous about both Bruno’s and Isabella’s sxual orientation… too many fans crushing on them from all genders and orientations… people making fan ships where they end up with them or another crossover character of their choosing… if either one gets paired or shows a specific love interest, they will lose all those fans as those fans will lose inspiration for the Encanto-verse…
Sooooo… they have to stay single and possibly asexual so fans can pretend they have a chance… it’s weird… but not if you understand the fan community… it’s why actors pretend to be single even if they’re technically “common law married”… fans need to be able to fantasize about them… oddly enough, JK Rowling lost so many when she came out with dumbledor being gay… so many female fans straight up rage quit after that… same when a rumor spread about Elsa from frozen being straight… so many sad lesbians rage quit including my former boss… now she acts like she was never that interested to begin with, even after going on about it for 5 years… after frozen themed birthdays, seeing the premiere of the second movie etc… if Isabella comes out as either gay or straight… even if bi… it instantly ruins the character in the eyes of the fans…
So they must stay vague… about Bruno, Camilo, Isabella, and Luisa… for as long as possible…
They really shouldn't do these kind o relationships but a part of fans would like to see a nice( and a normal) love story about them.
Ok ok if there was gonna be movie 2d or 3d idk but I want the story to be about someone sabotaging the magic since somone 0R30 made a song about Dolores not wanting to hear everything, so maybe she could be behind the magic crumbling slowly but surely by some way?And we could see the side of the story in the past with each character.
Her room is sound proof so she has a heaven. It's canon directly from the directors mouths.

If they did make something like this again, it should be a Disney short or a mini video. That way it’s easier to work with
If they make second movie I hope to get to know each character's personalities better because it would be nice to get to know the characters I'd say is the fanbases fav which is Camilo but, that may be wrong I personally would love to get to know Bruno, Camilo, and Delores better.

I feel it would of done better at the box office but it got released during the Pandmic and I could see it cracking over 750 million mark world wide if they do an Encanto 2.
I really would love to see Encanto two because the first movie was great but I kind of felt like their story did not end right after that I really wanted to see what their story continued so that’s why I really hope that the second movie really does turn out someday because Mirabelle finally got her gift and the whole family was finally back together so let’s just say I really really hope that the Second movie really does come out someday.

To those saying that Mirabel should get a gift: Mirabel isn’t getting one. She’s replacing Abuela when she’s gone. Abuela won’t live forever. That’s why she didn’t get a gift. Abuela doesn’t have a gift and just owns the candle so that’s what Mirabel would get. Something more special and important than the others. Giving the candle to another Encanto member would make them well… not really fair. Every member gets something

I think that there should be a villian who knew Alma and comes in and Sabatages the family and maybe Mirabel finds out and no one listens until gifts start weakling (like Luisa’s) then they’d start getting sus of him but Alma starts getting mad at everyone and then the guy sneaks up on Alma and kid naps her or something? And so on and so forth until this guy gets defeated or whatever
But if it just happens too be a 10 year time jump, it’s likely that Bruno, Pepa, and Julieta are really old and Abela is possibly dead or on a wheelchair

My idea would work for either a feature or as the basis for a series....How about Casita gets a glitch and starts mixing up the magical powers with only Bruno keeping his? I.E. Antonio starts shape shifting, Dolores can grow flowers, Louisa can hear a pin drop, Isabella can lift a house etc.

Camilo Madrigal: the character was the least touched on during the first film and I know I'm not the only one who was disappointed. Camilo as a shapeshifter must suffer identity crisis, and I would like to think Mirabel is his favorite cousin. The Bruno and Mirabel's sisters got closure but what about Camilo and Dolores. I think the sequel should focus on that side of the family fighting expectations and finding themselves, and to touch more on Camilo's story.
When I watched Encanto for the first time I was like: I want Encanto two! It’s so interesting!

But the directors said that if kids are adopted, they will be given a gift as well. So I propose a storyline where Bruno adopts a few kids, maybe twins 💁 we already have Coco so Abuela can live, please and thank you. It'd deal with being adopted and maybe it can involve the family traveling outside the Encanto to find kids for Bruno to adopt as his own💖 skip the cliche romantic subplot pleaseeee

@@SeptixcakeHis age it's not really a problem because you can be old in years if you are like one who is 40 or another age. Bruno lost 10 years of his life just hiding in walls. And the problems with his familly started from Pepa's wedding.

I think Isabella will find a nerd for a boyfriend and Merible will get abrealas door if she does pass away. Pluss Bruno will get a wife and all the kids will get wife's or husband's and have kids there own. And they may get a bigger house if there is no more a place for doors. Plus they may have a relative that they don't talk about. So that's what I think is going to happen in Encanto.

I prefer a prequel. It would be great to see what Alma's and Pedro's lives were like before they met and how their lives together were before Pedro was murdered

like if I could make the Encanto 2 storyline here what I would make it: a boy named Drogo which means ghost and is 13 has the gift to go through walls be light blueish when ghosting and can float the village and even the madrigals sometimes see him really invisible because his gift isn't useful and 4 years after his gift ceremony because the conquest were coming and had been fight them keeping them way for 4 years without anyone knowing but his family what's to find a truth about him any why he left
