    So happy to find a Dukan Diet channel that has recent content! Most people I talk to about this diet have never even heard of it lol. Please know your channel is helping to motivate me to continue this healthy eating lifestyle :)

      @amyjohnson1881 welcome aboard !! Yes I agree with you there is not so much new Dukan info / recipes etc these days but I know there must still be millions of people who are on the Dukan Diet. I'm praying for some sort of revival .. hahaha 😆 I hope you will enjoy my recipes

    I’m so delighted to find some current discussion of Dukan. I tried it years ago when it came out but reverted to plain Atkins low carb. I’ve been through keto and even carnivore in the years since but I think I am able to eat too much fat so that keto doesn’t work for me. I’ve decided to try this again. On the oat bran subject, I found some oat bran which is specifically gluten free. The brand manufacturer explained that a small amount of wheat can stick to the machinery with regular oat bran so it’s not completely gluten free. I decided to see how well I can do completely wheat free. I have quite a lot to lose and I’m just beginning again.

    Love current dukan content. Was on it in 2012 recently started again. Cannot find much new content. Keep putting out videos PLEASE!!! I went on optavia and lost all my hair due to lack of nutrients. Dukan is the way to go!! Keto way toooooo much fat.

    Thank you for sharing your dukan diet journey with us. I tried it back in the day and I lost loads of water weight but I didn't continue for reasons I can't remember 😊x
    I still have the book and I'll give it another shot where your dukan inspired recipes will come in handy ❤x

    thank you I love your channal , I love dukan diet as well , i did it multiple times. I restarted this week again and I"m on day four of attack phase ,I already loss 5lb , me too I love vegi and fruits,
    but this attack phase let me to let go of my addiction for fruit and vegi , and I will start cruise on monday

    i am going to watch in a bit with a cup of coffee. you look great!!! i do think that putting low carb in the title would get more views. so many people here in the states do not know the Dukan diet and may not watch. i really never heard much about it and i've been dieting most of my life. i looked into it months ago when i ran across your channel and even bought the oat bran but didn't stick with it. i think because i avoid gluten (wheat) due to hashimoto's and therefore couldn't make the staple bread. i'll reinvestigate in a bit. thanks for sharing.

      Hi there. Thank you so much for the tip. I will definitely add lowcarb to the title. I understand glutenfree diets very well. The oatbran on Dukan is quite low in gluten from what I understood because they remove most of the starchy bit of the oat grain and you're left with quite a lot of fibre. Oatbran is not classed as gluten free but some studies showed that people who are only slightly sensitive (not coeliac sufferers) have found that it has not affected them. I don't know what your level of tolerance/ sensitivity is towards gluten, only you will know if it is safe for you to try. Once you are ready you're welcome to try my Everyday Dukan Bread recipe or the Chocolate Goji muffins 😋

      I heard of it when Catherine married Prince Charles, as everyone wanted to know how she was so slim. She and her Mom followed Dukan and from what I understand she is still on it. The easy part for her is she has a cook/chef to make it easier.

      The hard part of weight loss is keeping it off. Last year I went to the doctors office because of bp. Very high, and so was my weight. I took the plunge, went low carb, and lost 40lbs in 6 months. The doctor was, and is amazed, and always asks what I did. Of coarse I work out everyday as well, but truly maintaining the loss is a challenge. An everyday battle. Thanks for sharing.

    hi from Australia... I am a plant based eater with small amounts of fish etc... as i find it difficult to eat a lot of chickpeas etc..tofu... I am in my late 60's and overweight... I am thinking of doing this diet again after 8yrs...I have the basic book life plan with no recipes...do you have recommendations for cookbook on recipes.. how do you do the cooking? many thanks...

      Hi there. Sorry for the late reply. I'm delighted to hear that you are considering this diet. Okay so mainly plant based with fish ... but not too much chickpeas and tofu. It's not so easy I'm afraid. Are you eating eggs or not at all ? I assume no dairy products like cottage cheese, quark or skyr ?
      You can try chia seeds upto 2 table spoons as a tolerated item on PV days they have protein in them. The oatbran which is compulsory you can turn into all kinds of things even Muesli. Do you eat mussels and prawns ? Tuna ? You can try the kinjac rice and noodles. Veggie days are obviously easier. Dr. Dukan himself do say that it's a very difficult diet for vegetarians but I do believe it is possible, you just need to find some suitable proteins to make sure you don't feel hungry.

    another thing that ups views is to have a before picture on your thumbnail with your after (especially if it was a terrible picture 🤣😂😅...the kind you want to tear up😁). i'm glad you found the way for yourself to sustain weight loss and enjoy the daily food. i'm going to try to make the bread because without it, i know i won't stick to the program.

      Yes I can imagine that would also be a great way to boost views .. I'm not on target yet but when I get there, I might put another video up... hahaha I still have some before pictures (that makes me cringe when I see them).. I can absolutely recommend the bread. I make it once a week and I normally slice it into 16 slices. I keep 8 in the fridge (for 4 days) and 8 in the freezer (I pack them 2 slices op top of each other in a zip lock bag). They defrost well overnight. When I toast them I put toaster on med and then again on high to make them extra crispy ... but they are also yummy when you don't toast them... a bit of Dukan Pate or smoked salmon 🤔 yummy.. Dukan jam recipes on my channel too.. and the Light Lunches video got lots of sandwich toppings ... with or without Dukan mayo. Have a great day. Please let me know what you think about the bread. . The seeds are optional but I love them gives extra texture (crunch) and nutty flavour. Sometimes I add a tsp caraway seeds or fennel seeds.

      No sorry I don't keep info like that. You'll find there is the Dukan supporters and those who are trying to destroy his reputation. I do believe he has helped millions of people around the world 🌎 and I will not join those who don't believe in his methods. I believe he is on the right track even if some of his methods are a bit controversial. That's my personal opinion.

      Yes. Definitely no fruit om attack phase. Over the years more items have been added on the Tolerated foods list. One of them is a quarter cup of berries and also Rhubarb (100 on PP days and unlimited on PV days).
