    WOW! That's REALLY impressive comparing to the Iphone 14. I think you just made me make my mind about buying this DJI. Thanks!

    The flare seems quite usual, but if you'd like to reduce it, you could consider buying a filter like a polarizing filter, which can reduce the amount of glare entering the camera. 5:50

    The only difference is they unlock 32000 ISO. if it’s not super dark I think they are actually the same settings.
    I did notice with mine how at night in the city my naked eye can’t see cloud detail, but the camera picks it up detail

    I think because the 3-Axis Stabilization is mehanical good for autofocus resulting less vibration,good autofocus, less blurry on video specially in lowlight, rather than electronic stabilization. that might be the difference. hope so✌✌✌

      Same, in the right situation they may even add to a scene, lens flares are often used in movies; these are just different.

    Low light mode looks slightly more crips when looking at some of the window frames, letters, etc. Much better than the iphone in low light....the iphone typically is good with good light (daytime). Did you play with any of the ISO settings? or kept everything on auto.

    Def the best lowlight I've seen for an action style camera. I'm guessing pretty similar to any one inch sensor camera like the zv-1/rx-100. That being said i think this is a pretty amazing tool for vlogger types. But for any kind of professional gig work I can't imagine it being as useful. Still highly impressive. Now that I mention it I'd actually be curious to see the comparison footage of this and a zv-1 style camera. Because the zv-1 is obviously more versatile as a hybrid, and the stabilization is surprisingly decent

      I'm not a professional and I used the previous model for family events, children acting and so on. Results were impressive so that some people asked how I was able to record that.
      So, in my opinion, Pocket is even better if you're not a professional.
      Only problem is that price increased a lot, therefore purchase needs to be evaluated carefully.

      @@bobtothebonehey bro I'm from India and I can't buy a single accessory after 1 set , should I buy creator combo of DJI osmo pocket 3 ? Is it better than I phone and Sony z1 ?

      @@FaaizAli-vu6tb it all depends on what you’re using it for. I have the iPhone 15 pro max and the osmo pocket 3 creator. I use both for TH-cam. I use the osmo when I’m out walking around. I use the iPhone for b reels and when I’m stationary.

    hi,
    Good Video, thank you for showcasing this camera. For me at this low light mode, the footage is still too bright. I would use a even low ISO value inorder to preserve a better image quality.

  • @RealTechnoPanda
    @RealTechnoPanda ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Low light mode seemed to crop in a little bit?

    • @pa_maj.MARTINI-van-MAN
      @pa_maj.MARTINI-van-MAN ปีที่แล้ว

      I think that's just the orientation of each shot. If you study the left hand side on both, then go to the right, then top and bottom; it's around the same. The higher window with the light on (where someone is standing) in normal mode looks bigger, this looks almost slightly zoomed in. This would then make one think that normal mode is cropped although it's probably just the slight difference between the two angles the video was taken at and the slight distortion of the lens.

    When I use the camera to make a walking video, it records for 20 minutes or 25 minutes, it does not record more than that, but when I record continuously, the video becomes buggy. I can never record 40 minutes at a time

  • @pa_maj.MARTINI-van-MAN
    @pa_maj.MARTINI-van-MAN ปีที่แล้ว

    There is a difference, not by much, but even with a 1" sensor; every little helps.
    Some can't seem to notice any difference so I wonder what they are watching it on.
    I'm using a 43" TV as a monitor, I guess with a 65" it would be even more noticeable.
    NOPE! even on my iPhone 13 I can see the difference which actually kind of surprised me.
    I think, when comparing it to the iPhone you used, there's no competition...it simply wins at night.
    I was thinking of treating myself to an iPhone 15 Pro Max, this now makes it more difficult for me.
    I know I won't be doing much filming when it's too dark without Good lighting and I like the thought of a 5 times zoom and larger screen, not forgetting a better camera for taking pictures in general; plus it's a good phone.
    Come on apple, we want a 1" sensor 😆

    For someone who doesn't want to deal with postprocessing or shoots live, low light mode is ok. Yet all it's doing is just a lot of denoising and extremely artificial sharpening. If you use something like Neat Video with d-log 10 bit you will get better results for sure.

    There is absolutely no point in buying go pro 12 creater edition. With launch of insta 360 ace pro it becomes more interesting which to pick since we also have DJI action 4 with 1/3 sensor same as ace pro. In the end looks like go pro had no vision to see what it's competitors would offer.

    You shouldnt be using selfie camera as comparison. Use the back camera for comparison.

    • @thoughtsontravelandlife
      @thoughtsontravelandlife  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Back camera you can't see yourself and frame properly, whereas with Pocket 3 you can. So I think it's fair comparison when you want to consider vlogging options

    • @TheEngineeringGraduate
      @TheEngineeringGraduate ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thoughtsontravelandlife I disagree because comparison should solely be based on the quality of the image and video from the new 1inch sensor as compared to the iPhone main camera. This way the consumer will know what they may be getting from the new pocket 3. Because everyone knows that selfie cameras are just for selfies and not vlogging. Because there is no comparison at all between iPhone selfie camera and the 1 inch camera of the pocket. This is why people are doing comparisons between action 4 as vlogging camera and pocket 3 etc, purely to check video quality and value for money.
