There are houses all over America that can be had for that. Many are small and out side the main centers. You will not get something in a major city for that but outside that you will. He says UH a lot for a guy that got a degree in communications
Agreed. In my communications class in college, the instructor would deduct points if we used words like: uh, um and like. Apparently they don't do that at his college.
What is your degree in?
Um......
...
Communications.
@@Primitive_Code Same, they are called verbal pauses. We got major deductions if we used them in my communications class. And he is a communications major, makes no sense o_0
I know too many people with communications degrees who have no idea what to do with it.
Photography is also about networking. We chose our photographer based on personality as well as skill and someone who is organised and wants to hustle for their clients. Wedding photos are based on trust of the photographer.
Communications degree says sales. You can make a lot of money in sales and your degree will be useful.
Advertising, marketing, business presentation, websites and so on.
Girl I worked as a line cook with was in a similar situation. The restaurant put her in charge of the social media because they were new and didn't want to do it themselves.
School is a waste in my opinion if it doesn’t directly impact your job. For example, you have to go to school if you want to be a doctor or a lawyer. So many people graduate and get no job and get depressed/discouraged when they have a mountain of debt and are working as a server in a restaurant. My cousin was a very smart girl in school. Business admin major. Graduated, had no job, and now teaches English in Korea trying to find herself still. I think she’s in a little depression from it and I hope she finds her way!
But business majors get many jobs if they do accounting or finance

Success is simply a Mind Set. I graduated in Communications and The Wall Street Journal came looking for ME. I was the first person at the School of Communications to be recruited. This came because I hustled so much that my resume was overflowing. NBC TV, NBC Radio, Brown University Radio, Local Newspapers, College Newspapers and more. You have to make yourself the Prize and hustle like hell BEFORE you graduate so they are all bidding for you when you graduate. 😎
I feel the same way, and I just graduated in May of 2024 with a bachelors in music, so I am blessed to have health insurance due to disability. I am starting to start my life with volunteering with a local band at a local school with someone I know.

@@TheGuitarGuyCody it is exhausting. It’s been more than a year for me. Try applying for an international internship. Look up CareerUp.

Colleges and specialists don't help students out enough to get those experiences with opportunities. They just apply to jobs but they want experience? But you have to work to get experience? How? Then that's where internships come in.

I bet Frank knows how to use social media platforms. If he knows photography he surely can edit and resize jogs. Social media marketing and management is a job in itself for many companies...even remote work.
Family portrait and wedding photography is not the most interesting work but it pays well and people still want someone to capture their special moments even if gatherings are limited.

When it comes to college, it’s all about picking the right degree! For my younger people, do your research on what you think you may want to do beforehand. I would stick to Stem, anything related to medical, finance and law. If you only want to teach then you can entertain other fields.

There are houses all over America that can be had for that. Many are small and out side the main centers.
