Peperomia had to sit in soggy soil. I have found that they love to be bottom watered. Let it soak up for a few minutes...just enough to get the roots wet, but not wet throughout the soil. Hope that makes sense.
It was pretty cool to see and what confuses me is that plants grow upwards on trees reaching forbthe light, but they are not getting light from above....so why are they still climbing??? Haha
I've struggled to get my peperomia like yours to grow. I have it in plastic, I wonder if terracotta would be better? It hardly ever needs to be watered, seems to stay wet a long time.
Honestly, I can't remember if I have potted my other peperomias in succulent/cactus soil, but they are a semi succulent plant and don't like sitting in wet soil....so I figured it was a good choice.

Jeff, how do you keep your terracotta planters looking so nice? Do you water your plants with distilled water?
I only use a filtered tap water setup. It is in my most recent houseplant chore video that I uploaded yesterday.

Terracotta.....yes! Peperomias don't like wet feet, but like a good watering when dry.

Can a philodendron tolerate low light?
They might be able to survive in lower light, but most likely won't grow much.
