No other kids?
@Poohtle I also got pregnant at 17..I dropped out of university..I got engaged to her Dad..We built a house and planned a future..My daughter was born 2 days after I turned 18..The reality of being a parent was far more intense than I could have imagined..I had severe post natal depression..we made it work for about 8 months until I crumpled..We separated, sold the house and my daughter was cared for by both sets of grandparents for about 6 months until I pulled myself together enough to try again as a single parent..I have stayed friends with her Dad..but it's been tough..She has autism and a very high iq and still requires a high level of support at age 34..You just don't know how the wheels are going to turn..Sometimes, no matter how willing you are to work at it, there are things totally outside your control that throw a spanner in the works..I also have a son who is 10 years younger and the most kind, placid boy you'd ever know..but, if I'd had another like my daughter, I think it would have been the end of me..I think if you've got 2 healthy well behaved children already it might be a good thing to count your blessings and stop right there.. 🤷♀️
It was a good thing you actually worked out really good not everybody wants to do that anymore

These kids are gorgeous! It’s normal to be concerned surely when one feels there’s a lack of life experience but as we all do we learn as we grow up. They’re learning the process and doing such an amazing job as parents 🫶🏻

It’s all fun & games till they’re 30 with 10 kids & realize the older the kids get the more expensive they become.
Or they realize they threw their lives away, didn't get to enjoy their teens and 20s, etc.
They can be religious and still use common sense and be on birth control. Are their church members going to financially help take care of a bunch of kids? Nope. Their church will beg/expect them to give tithes and offerings whether or not they can afford it though.
@@kaylawaters2691having kids is not throwing your life away. Because you have that mentality you should refrain from ever having children yourself. It's fine to have your own preference but dictating other people follow what you think is standard is wrong.
This is it. I am a mom of 7 kids and my older kids are college and Highschool age and it definitely gets more expensive. Sure you can do small meal portions and hand me down clothes and diapers in bulk when they’re babies… but once you have to spend 80 dollars on one pair of shoes per kid for school, plus school supplies and clothes and electronics and they’re eating adult sized portions, it is NOT easy. Nevermind college tuition. Good luck with retirement! I’ll be working til I die.

Thing is … many kids nowadays can’t even read and they’re already of school age. They gotta be doing something right for their 2 year old reading like that. Lotta hate towards young parents but not every young parent is a bad one. Seen many “older” parents do a lot worse of a job than this couple…

I just don't see how children are comfortable bringing kids home to their parents I would never I would be for me I will never be that comfortable

The problem is that they are kids themselves and havent grown yet so they'll most likely grow apart and divorce, like all relationships that start at 15
