Sal, are you resonators towards the front of the xpipe or rear?
@@USNRET610 the alibaba version has the resonators in front. If you want double forward x pipe you need to buy Zen-Rage limited edition version.

Thanks for uploading this video. I have an idea of how mone will sound. How long does it take to change the xpipe from the car being on jack stands? I heard it's a little more difficult
@@USNRET610 nice! Post a video when you do it. For me I have done it many times so it usually takes me 2 hours to swap the whole exhaust on jackstands.

Sal, you should try experimenting with maybe removing the resonators on this system with the dual x-pipe, maybe removing only one resonator and leaving the other one on, or trying the double x-pipe to a H-Pipe.

Hey Sal for the dual x pipe exhaust, Ik you had said the quad resonated had no rasp at all but was super deep tone, I was wondering how non resonated would sound with the dual x pipe?
That would be more raspy.
The exhaust in the link only has one x pipe. Was there a box to check, or have they changed it since you ordered?
The seller will contact you through messages and you tell them how you want the exhaust setup including which exhaust tips.

Sal thanks for another banger! I gotta ask, is the smell bad with no cats? Does the supplier have an option to add 200 cell HFC? Are Chinese made hfc cats reliable (heat tolerance) for e9x m3?
Thanks! The smell is there but it doesn’t bother us since we are used to it in every car we had. Yes you can add HFC to them but the quality isn’t the best. I would get better quality cats and weld or clamp them in wherever you like. Good luck! 👍

How was fitment with this setup? Were there any exhaust rattles or places where things didn’t line up?
Fitment was great, there are plenty of adjustment joints to line it up perfectly to your liking.
Sounds great, Do you ever have any regrets about that 12.3 screen? Like is there anything you like more about the oem over that display like maybe it’s too big or anything?

hows the drone at around 3k rpm with the dual x pipe? i have single x pipe and want to get rid of drone.
Drone is usually deeper tone and the double x gives more higher pitch with less rasp which also decreases the drone. Good luck 👍

If your goal is to actually to tickle eardrums during fly bys, would you say straight pipe without x pipe is louder ?
Definitely. Loud and rowdy.
I'm sorry, but no, Sal is incorrect. The presence of the x-pipe has little effect on loudness/volume, moreso pitch/frequency. If you want go loud loud, look at meisterschaft super GT or designs similar to kreisseg or ipe F1. There is physics to explain why these are loud, but that requires a lecture. Good luck

I saw a vacuum system that looked like it had an electronically controlled pump to make it work, so was thinking it's probably not much different than straight electric. Any further thoughts here? It's the last option that I need to decide before ordering..

How loud is this compared to the valvetronic exhaust. Hoping this is as loud if not louder because it’s titanium. Also, can you set the garage opener buttons to open and close valves like valvetronic?
Same loudness as valvetronic and yes you can program it to the garage opener.

So why vacuum vs electronic value control?
You can choose between the two. I like the reliability of the vacuum valves. Haven’t had issues for the last 2-3 years.

Yea this is my 8th setup now 😆 I wanted to try this out to help share a cheaper option for titanium that doesn’t break the bank. Going to be returning to the ZenRage custom exhaust once that comes in.

Im using this same X pipe with a stock rear section and swore It felt like I lost power. Maybe just being paranoid but I was thinking about hopping on the dyno with it to confirm.
