honestly. i think he's a bad singer and piano player. don't get me wrong. i really like radiohead and his solo stuff, but if this would be a unknown artist, he would be shredded to bits by reviewers (if they would).

In an old interview from many years ago, Thom or Jonny described the music they were developing as "miserablist" - a definition which includes some self-deprecating humour (ie, making fun of themselves). I love the way their music creates a feeling of melancholy but not depressing and always somehow beautiful
When I listen to this video, there is no thom yorke, there is no piano, just an inexplicable feeling happens inside, almost as if me and the world had no problems, it's like abstracting from reality for a few minutes, and entering a beautiful and inspiring reality.

1994- Radiohead came up on my radar coz I was watching a lot of MTV, loads of music and videos. I was a young wife and mother at the time and eventually watched less and less tv. I remember Paranoid Android was being played a lot and the video was different. 2024- I watched the Radiohead at Astoria concert on TH-cam and fell in love with Radiohead again. They’ve done So Much music that I hadn’t heard; I feel like Alice in wonderland- disoriented, amazed, enthralled, overwhelmed by this musical journey called Radiohead.. Have I died and gone to Heaven where Thom is God??!!
