Thank goodness for video. Sitting here in 2024 and remembering the joy these folks brought me through the years. I've watched it several times and seams like every time I watch it there's more missing now. Thanks Bill.
CLASSIC....SO MANY ARE GONE NOW~~~MAY THEY ALL R.I.P.
So good to see and hear Goldie again. Loved the Carl Smith stories, too. I was 19 years old, stationed in the Navy at the Naval Air Station, in Grand Prairie, just outside of Dallas. In my off time, I would hang around the peanut gallery at Love Field, writing songs. I looked up and saw this tall, dapper man in a western suit heading to a concourse to catch a plane. I knew he was a country music star, and I just had to go meet him. I ran as fast as I could to catch up with him, but I didn't want to appear anxious, so I stood out of sight around a pillar, and let him get settled in his seat in the waiting area. Being a shy sort of kid, I had to work up my nerve to approach him. This was a big step for a 19-year-old, country songwriting, sailor. I had never met a big star before. I thought, "Lord, don't let me get all tongue-tangled!" I finally took a deep breath and stepped from behind the pillar, and with a big smile I blurted out, "Excuse me... Aren't you Faron Young?" He said, "No, I'm Carl Smith. What's your name? I want to remember it for when I tell everyone in Nashville about this!" What a great sport he was...
meet in the middle was the first song i heard of diamond rio that was a country song for sure, and was like a why did i let that guy go,
This is a gold mine! This wonderful classic country sounds as great now as it did back then. So thankful and grateful I got to enjoy the originals.
Craig Morgan looked like a star struck little boy sitting next to Goldie Hill. She was a beautiful lady.
It was so beautiful and see so many country singers .love it so much .❤
I love these country reunion videos and that there are lots of them on here. It's great to see all of the stars of yesterday that are no longer with us.
I have always sensed the sweetness of Marty Robbins.
Oh how I enjoyed watching Darryl Worthy dance. He’s a wonderful dancer!! Love these reunion’s my kind of music!! Keep them going.❤
Hoyt Axton was a favorite of mine, in tv and movies, too.
That Hoyt Axton story is hilarious!
It's so beautiful to see these artists being themselves and enjoying the best that music, period, has to offer. Thank you!
Love it What legends.. The Old Barn # 3
I wish we could get longer cuts of this. I feel like there must be gold on the cutting room floor.
There's a lot of these videos. Lots to be grateful for.☺
🌹🤠😃 THANK YOU 🌹💕💕 LOL 2-1-24/January 2,2024
Good bless you Blake Shelton, thank you for your music.
I agree sweetie, Blake Shelton has some beautiful music 🎶
Blake. I love that song. Red. Really i enjoyed all of this country reunion. ❤😊.
Ol' Red is my favorite song of Blake's.
Craig did a great job on that Gene waton song.
I wonder if he ever imagined that he would have the career he has sitting in this group. This tape was a 'few' years ago.
Loved Carl Smith & Faron Young!
I remember, I was attending Parker Elementary when Wayne brot three Hank Williams 331/3rd records home, but I ws outnumbered n they would not play the one I wanted so the nxt day I went to school, waited till lunchtime, ran full speed home, put Love Sick Blues on, played it 10 times ran back to school for 1-pm. No one the wiser, the house ws empty….never told anyone.
Great entertainment
Where’s this been all my life???❤❤❤ 48:46
J'adore la musique country ❤❤❤❤
It keeps getting better 😊.
Screw the new country. Love older. Stuff. Remember 66 or so when mom listened to wwva Jamboree Wv
realy enjoy the singers and there gutars no bels and whistels
I watch a lot of these clips and I never hear them talk about Conway Twitty. The man was underappreciated while he was alive and, it seems, forgotten now. You can have Cash, Haggard, Jones, et al. I'll take Conway every single time.
Glenn Cambell signed like that also
Which Volume of this series has Chalee Tennison singing the Tammy Wynette song?
All of its great like to know if theres any CDs of these??
I think there's DVD'S. Check the description.
Blake Shelton waits patiently, let him sing!!!
Very beautiful
Everybody has a turn- and most of these greats have a lot of seniority on him.
👍

Who is the blonde sitting next to Vince Gill?
A bit late to answer your question, she is Elizabeth Cook, she does a great cover of Jessi Coulter’s, I’m not Lisa.
It’s called money....
Who is the brunette in the red and black sweater?
That is what I was wondering too. WOW!
Chalee Tennison. A former prison guard in Gatesville, TX prison.
when the music out sound the song and one cannot hear the words or melodies , stop and listen to yourselves. the concerts today are so loud and flashing lights country music is dead. please go back to the real roots of country.
tonight i have had the homer to listen to country music of the day. jthank the Good Lord to help me hear the country music artist of the day. come back to us!!!
Blake Shelton why didn’t you stick to being traditional country?you forgot your country roots
Absolutely agree. His accoustic country was what I fell in love with. Austin is one of my faves. Wish he would remember what got him there.
@@debdemaria608 so many of the artists do that! Start out true country, then change. I'm so tired of it. Glad there's a few who stayed true to their roots, like George Strait, Alan, Patty Loveless.
Yea his music sounds pop I don't care for it
