Nancy's hit, boots were made for walking was top ten, feels like yesterday..I surely wish that now was way back then, You see my Dad passed away this past Wednesday.. I enjoyed it while it lasted, but it was not something I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I had attended and graduated college by that time and majored in Adult Education - teaching post-secondary level - College classes. So, I ended up teaching college courses in a college outside of Atlanta, GA.I am happily retired now and enjoying every minute of it. I was blessed to meet and appear on stage with so many of the "older" greats and that's where the true country music roots lie. The person I enjoyed meeting the most was Dolly Parton. What you see is exactly what you get. She's a lovely lady who will never change for anyone. Congrats and continued blessings for your musical journey.

I enjoyed it while it lasted, but it was not something I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I had attended and graduated college by that time and majored in Adult Education - teaching post-secondary level - College classes. So, I ended up teaching college courses in a college outside of Atlanta, GA.I am happily retired now and enjoying every minute of it. I was blessed to meet and appear on stage with so many of the "older" greats and that's where the true country music roots lie. The person I enjoyed meeting the most was Dolly Parton.
