Thank you Larry Black for having the foresight to capture these superstars of yesteryear on tape. It is now possible for older generations to go back and revisit these singers once again, and to expose these awesome people to newer generations who can also see just how precious these people were and to enjoy their talents, otherwise many people might not have ever had an opportunity to have seen or heard them.
The sad thing is that through the years we lose so many of these superstars of yesteryear. To give you an idea of how many, here is a list of the folks in this video who are no longer with us.

So out of the nine living people from this video, three are in their nineties, four are in their eighties and only the White sisters are younger, Sharon will turn 71 in December and Cheryl just turned 69.
Just in this video alone we have lost a WHOPPING TWENTY ONE superstars from yesteryear, so again THANK YOU VERY MUCH Larry Black for doing these videos.
Also one of the most awesome guitar players ever, Jimmy Capps passed away, his dates were 25 May 1939-2 June 2020. I found that interesting because my dad was also born in 1939 and died in 2020.
The man who was delivered from alcohol has the very (best) testimony of them all!

This is why these country singers were the best of the best in the country music field. They never forgot there there church backgrounds and Gospel roots.

It’s so wonderful that all these artists are saved by Jesus! Most of them are in heaven singing in glory but their testimonies live on for others to hear an see.
I was brought up with southern gospel and hynms song. ny dad was a preacher and sang and played the guitar and sang, God gave me the gift of playing the piano was married in the Ryman 1981 Bro Roy Acuff 33 degree mason served as best man. I will soon be 81 and I think God for all the memories in the music field. God is good, Martha Butterfield Glawson.
9 met Charlie Louvin in Columbia Mo. I told him a little of my music and singing he ask if I'd want to go on the road with them but I was married with two small boys. would have loved it,
Someone said about that generation that no one would top them. Well that’s sure been proven. This was the last great generation of country music.

Is gone on now so is joe diffie dawn Anita plumlee me and her were good buddies we wrote a song together I named it driving his cattle home I am registered with bmi I've wrote over 200 songs all gospel I love all you guys God bless you all

Love country gospel. Most of these singers have gone home. So thankful i saw most of them in person, going back to Ryman for some.
Man this video took me back to my childhood days and the churches my dad pastored which formed my own faith in Jesus Christ. I wish I’d followed more closely, but I’ve never strayed far enough to not know God was there through it all.
What a Blessing these videos have been. I grew up listening to these country music singers, and it's such a comfort to know that they have trusted Jesus as their Savior.

Amen! I do believes that elder people can get saved! Yes! I've known it too happen! I remember singing( do Lord in missions class on Wednesday nites in rural city out in central okla.) Great testimony! This really blesses my heart as I'm going through a rough week a bestfrend of mine is getting buried 08/25 ft.campbell*KY he talked with me bouts his haven been a u.s.navy veteran so if you meets a veteran tells them thnk you for their service

I beg to differ the gentleman said nothing bad happens after you get saved. The devil continually attacks believers. So if you're going through a rough time, just remember Jesus told us we WOULD have troubles. But, He promised we would never go through them alone!
