Even a simple Model A engine deserves that attention to detail! All those little things add up and make for a great running vehicle. Always impressed by the quality of your workmanship! 👍👍
Great video, thank you. Can you tell us how you got into the business and ended up with such a high end shop, that didn't happen overnight and is beyond impressive.
Big congratulations on your machine shop! It is impeccable. Looked even like a surgical unit it looked so clean. That’s just the way I think a machine shop should be operated. You all do beautiful work! My kind of workmanship!
You do beautiful work. This is the first of your videos that I have seen. Very impressive but it would sure be nice to know where you are located. Not necessarily an exact specific address but at least what city and state.
Very helpful video as I am at the beginning of an engine rebuild myself. Do you recall how much endplay you gave the crankshaft? The insert instructions call for .002 - my gut tells me that's a little on the tight side (?)
You were lucky to find no cracks in the block. Could you show how you identify and correct cracks especially in blocks and castings that cannot be replaced.
@@claytoresto thank you! For a model a it’s most times easier and more cost effective to simply find another block. Not so with a majority of the cars you build! And where would a shop like yours draw the line on something like a model a? A few cracks, ok , but more than a few?
Thanks for doing these! I feel like it is an important contribution to the digital library that is youtube.
Love your videos.
It’s therapy watching anything done absolutely correct.
👍 😊
I enjoyed every second of that. Excellent workmanship, into that piece of history.

I should have added that I find your videos fascinating.
Sir, how many miles did a production engine last for? and how many after your TLC?

Great video. I look forward to your videos. Thanks
beutiful.
Valve seat for unleaded gas.
When fitting wet liners in the Rolls-Royce V8, because of the rubbers seals, RR used palm oil.
The B-roll of the HUSKY... classic!
Great video. Thanks for sharing. 😎
I think you do beautiful work!!!
I think the white goop is Seal-Lock Fluid Weld. I've used it for valve seats.
Great video! Do you do any aircraft restoration? How do you like flying the HUSKY? It's a marvelious airplane; I've heard nothing but rave reviews.
Out doing important work for the shop, yeah right. Cut down on the coffee and donut runs. Interesting build. I like the build detail you go into.

We cut to .004
@@claytoresto Thanks!
Adrian, we're waiting for a video on your engine rebuild!!! 👏

Sure. On the next engine we will do that.
