This felt like a race from 10 years ago. More tactical, with lulls in pace, attacks and lots of lead changes. What a classic course. It's a shame it's not a World Cup anymore.
Эли просто машина, удержаться за ван Аэртом и оторваться от остальной группы, кайф. Я как дурак на седьмом круге скандировал: Эли! Эли! Красавчик 💪 Веча, спасибо за аплоад👍
Wout has sacrificed so much for the Grand Tours plus having a kid and were now seeing the consequences... his a little spent this 2023 hope he can bounce back next year
Has anyone noticed that Wout is far from being the most confortable (compare to his competitors) bunny hopping barriers, not only at this race but in general?
Iserbyt is a 2/3% better driver than Wout, but Wout is 3/5% stronger. Neither has any edge on MVDP, and the last few days has proven that. Add in Pidcock's combination of those assets and his uncanny ability to ride on the very edge, barely averting disaster, and you got one hell of a race.
Wout is faster on the descents that makes him a better rider and he rode to drain his opponents energy which makes him smarter, Iserbit is very similar to Pidcock although I prefer Tom's riding, MVdP is a one off beast that is better prepared and this season has also seen an increase in top athletes but WvA and MVdP are in another league.
@@paulojrg watch closely how Iserbyt hardly ever puts a foot down, rails every corner and closes a second on WVA 3 or 4 times every lap, just when you think Wout got the gap. This skill is still not enough to overcome WVA or MVDP's power advantage, and that was on display today. I agree, it's a "top two" not three.
@@isitrachelorj3953 He's a smaller guy, lower centre of gravity and lower weight helps 😉. His hability to close gaps (and destroying his batteries in the meantime) is one of the almost Pitbullesque habilities I like in him.
@@isitrachelorj3953 Iserbeyt has had bobbles or minor crashes in so many races this season (including in the last week). Iserbyt is an average handler for this level in my view.
keep up the great coverage, thank you

I prefer to see the course without commentary, we can hear the sound of the public and the speaker live
amazing race by Wout Van Aert! Well deserved win. Thank you so much for uploading again!
Thank you!

O iserbit pedalando parece um garoto de 15 anos empolgado que acabou de ganhar a primeira bike speed de presente do pai.
Not easy win for Wout.
I think he was told to take it easy until the second to last lap.

As I was typing this comment, Iserbyt literally bobbled getting up a climb at 35:00 race time
