034 Fishing off Worms Head, Gower. Catch and Cook.

In this video, myself and Oliver head out over the causeway to Worms head, Gower. We spend 24 hours out there, fishing, relaxing, enjoying the stunning scenery, with an overnight bivi thrown in for good measure. I spend the night in my Carinthia Bivi bag, Helikon-tex Swagman roll and a backpackinglight micro tarp as a windbreak.
Watch it until the end to see if I manage to successfully catch and cook anything!

Camped and fished there many times in the 90’s, same with Burry Holms. Used to fish Kitchen corner and stay in the then derelict fisherman’s landing hut. Nowadays due to age and disability, I mostly Kayak or boat fish, but I still regularly wild camp locally to where I live in Burry Port.

Decent stuff. Poor thresher shark didn’t stand a chance! The bass did look like mullet though. Crap eating anyway. As long as you keep varying rates of retrieves and lures, you can’t go far wrong on the worm! Great camping video.
