I'm currently leasing a Caligraphy. I couldn't be happier. I used to have a G80. I'm at 1500 miles and have had absolutely ZERO problem. I get compliments on the car all the time. Especially the interior.
@@clarkpetion305 what are the monthly payments like?
For engine you can buy hybrid, wich is completely different engine. Third row is better than most of the direct competitors.
Its 6 speed too and AT not DCT. Have had mine for a month. So far no issues.
Another plus for the hybrid is it comes with 20" wheels, might not be a big difference in ride quality over the 21's, but you'll pay up to 200 usd per tire less and have a MUCH larger selection of tires to choose from.
Absolutely unhinged review. Sounds like chat GPT. Have you ever even set foot in the car?
-- "Sounds like chat GPT." YES, Definitely! But, hey, it's all about the clicks
Lol slightly, opinionated review?. Tell me you dont like Hyundai without saying you dont like Hyundai.
It's one of the most nicest cars out there at this moment....Mr. motor genius...you are exaggerating and blowing up minor problems.
I own a 2024 nhl santafe which has already giving me problems. Not even 3k km.
@@achyugonu What are the problems?
@@txaggievet i am getting all these warnings check hybrid system, check HDA and check transmission control unit.
@@achyugonu well its brand new and under warranty so why worry
But why the headaches?
Must work for the competition. This is a grand SUV at a fair price point very suitable for families, with loads of storage.
A panoramic sunroof is an option that goes mostly unused.
Should check the news my friend.
Issue with the transmission is fixed. Was related with tcm software issue that kill the transmission.
Hyundai has fix the issue with a recall and replace under warranty the transmission.
3er row in my acura mdx is the same..
Is only for kids or short trips.
Should update this video..
These reasons are crazy lol. Also it has the best in class third row space? They literally advertise that. Looks great and drives great with more power than most in its class. Love my 24 Santa Fe.
@@MyFriendsPodcast glad to read this because I’m about to pick mine up and I was getting nervous with the transmission issues people are discussing!
you obviously don't like the santa fe. so what are you selling?
I saw a TH-camr already replace 2-3 transmissions for this new model year
@@paulevora7557 He's reviewing, not selling.
@@deadbot61 Who? Because I call BS on 3 transmissions
@@txaggievet Carconfecctions. They’re on their third transmission on there personal Santa Fe
@paulevora7557 I really like Hyundai. I have an Elantra with lots of miles and it's super reliable and dependable. Doesn't mean some of their stuff isn't great. My next vehicle will prob be a hyundai, but a normal step transmission is what I'll be going for.
I have 5k miles on my wonderful 2024 SEL Sante Fe!!!! The transmission, dual clutch, is the best I've ever owned over the horrible CVT version. The ride is so smooth like a Lincoln Towncar from years ago! Plus, if you need pickup this baby has it. It loves to cruise on the highway at 75 mph and you will achieve an amazing 29 mpg!!!!!!! I'm truly happy with the Santa
Fe.
So your description says this is a buyers guide for the hybrid model but then give a takeaway about the gas transmission.
Your luxury critique is pretty bogus to me but that is more an opinion statement anyways so not really useful in this video.
Also, you talk about limited third row seating on a model that has some of the most third row space than any of its competitors?
Lastly, not only is what you say about larger wheel making the ride worst absolutely wrong but they are definitely a nicer luxury look than smaller tires. Not only that the hybrid tires aren't even mention here.
In conclusion, you not only didn't talk about the hybrid elements even though you included that in the description for the video but it is abundantly clear that you just don't like Hyundai in general and shouldn't have been making a poorly done critique video to begin with.
It’s the same transmission they’ve used since 2021. I have one in my 2021 calligraphy and have had zero issues. We are hearing a few issues among many thousands of no issues.
Hyundai is ordering us a new transmission on our 2024 Santa Fe Calligraphy - only 2,800 miles! Finally heard on 6/28/24.
We just got ours and they checked the transmission out, it was fine. according to the dealer they had a bad batch of molds from the manufacturer. If that true does not seem to be a mass wide issue. I Could be wrong we only have a little over 1000 miles. Praying ours does not have any of the struggles some other people are having.
We bought a new 2024 Santa Fe (from a 2020 SF) and we love it. XRT model.
Absolutely love mine! No issues at 4k miles. And I tow a seadoo fish pro with it.
This review starts out negative and stays consistent throughout review!!! AGENDA!!!
I work for Hyundai. These are very nice vehicles. Yes there has been some trans issues but it’s warrantied.
Just test drove one and tested out the seat. I don't know what they are talking about the 3rd row being limited space. I'm 5"10" med built and fit perfectly in the 3rd row. Legs slightly angles up but I have alot of space between my knees
I bought one here in Costa Rica and we are really happy with this car... Great room inside,, good technology and beautiful design in and out.
The third row is not that crammed, compared to other vehicles of similar size. I prefer the Santa Fe third row over my Highlander.
The transmission issue is real - our 24 AWD Calligraphy w/2700 miles just started acting up towards the end of a road trip between St. Louis and Chicago. We’ve had zero issues prior. When going from 1st to 2nd, the tranny is shuddering, almost like you’re driving over a few bumps, and then clunks into 3rd. The next day (today), it is also making a chaffing sound in each gear, and not wanting to upshift, holding gears much longer than normal. Already reached out to Hyundai and it’s been “escalated” since the car is less than 90 days old. Manufacture date was in mid-March, purchase date April 25th.
Do you have the hybrid or non-hybrid? Hybrid uses 6 speed. Non-hybrid uses DCT.
@@timvibes Non-Hybrid, 8 speed DCT on our 2.5T Calligraphy.
@@timvibes just heard from our dealer, St. Charles Hyundai in MO. Our 2024 Santa Fe needs a new transmission - 2,800 miles
The Hyundai 8-speed wet dual clutch transmission may fail under under these conditions, High load (like an SUV with 6 people in it) and or high heat ( like a SUV loaded with gear going up a hill), Or if it tows anything (which increases load and heat). The (wet) parts of the transmission are for cooling (because it may fail during high load and or heat). This same transmission has failed in some 2023 Santa Cruz's. "Covered under warranty" won't do much good if you have to wait 3 to 4 weeks for a "repair or replacement" without a car. This transmission is a lightweight and efficient one and would work well on any LIGHT weight or LIGHT load car like a Kona (3005 lbs) that can fit 4 people max. Use it in a Santa Fe (4,486 lbs) that can have 7 people +gear? That's asking a lot out of that type of transmission. You should do through research on this particular transmission before making the leap.
@@dragonfires101 is that the same case for the hybrid variant?
I love the new look
Currently having issues with my 2024 Santa Fe XRT. “Shifter System Malfunction” just started today. I have less than 2k miles. Add to that the fact that Accessory Mode will not turn off when it is stuck in N. So, my battery will be dead by Monday before I can take it to the dealership.
This is a great design it is not to say there will be issues but whoever created this video is trying to detract from someone buying this vehicle giving it such a negeative review .
i would argue that the 3rd row isnt meant for use 100% of the time, if you want a vehicle that can carry alot of people very often then get a minivan or something, also the hybrid has a different transmission which is likley to be more reliable
In Puerto Rico the Calligraphy cost $66k
Bought one hybrid and loving it no issues. Limited and up worth the money😂❤ sound like a hater and nit picking way better then something like a explorer etc
The only concern I have is the transmission. Otherwise I totally like this upgraded Santa Fe
XRT is the one I like. Unfortunately there is no hybrid XRT
Very bad review...you have some other problem with this ..this car is good
The problem is the dct transmission failed and the hyundai santa Fe Hybrid is a 6 speed transmission and it was used on the 2023 santa fe without the problems of the dct transmission
Seems like a biased review. You’re the only one who is saying negative things about the new Santa Fe.
Bitter and can’t afford one?…its not tight in the 3rd row just guessing?…I’ve been with Tucson and Santa Fe for years no issues are you being paid by jealous competitor?…😂😂😂
Yes, stay away from the Hyundai vehicles with the DCT transmissions....You see problems with these on their Santa Cruz, as well. There's been a surprising number of problems with them on a the Santa Fe. Seems like it's no longer a matter of if, but when.
My 3-day old Santa fe hybrid won't start. I should've watched your video before buying 😂😂😂
Transmission got a recall. Software update took 3 hours. Problem solved.
Most of the facts mentioned in this video were gathered without fact checking. Carries lots of false details
That was a horrible review!
AI garbage
So basically all the "problems" with the car are around that someone might not like the design ? that's aweful . Lazy work. Looksl like they didn't even get in the car themselves.
I got my 2020 hyundai santa fe but to be honest I don't like this new one
All I hear are assumptions... "hyundai maybe this" "hyundai probably this". Where are the facts mon ami
"its more being flashy, than improving the design" - Does this AI author, even looked at this car? its standing out, for sure, but design improoved a LOT. This opinions are worthless. Like for example, transmission issues are true for 2.5 turbo engine. For hybrid engine, there are non existent (different fearbox)
Nowhere in this video do we actually see "the genius" even near or driving the vehicle. What kind of stupid review is this.
Funny how people are arguing with a computer voice most likely 😅
I like the car. But I won’t buy it because you can buy 1,6 engines only in EU…
I cannot believe that 2024 Santa Fe that major problem
Gosh, this is a great motor offering exceptional value! Shove a BMW badge and the price is $120k plus! Are you another brand salesman…..😂
This is why you buy the hybrid
Something is fishy about this video
My Santa fe calligraphy 2024 has tpms issue til now they can't solve it
Not true
I drive 150 km at 120khm it's still ok bruh fake guy it's fake
This video is being sponsored by a third party.
Thats OBVIOUS, Probably Toyota
Motor Genius? I think not.
Awwwe is someone needing a time out?
Lee Larry Hernandez Nancy Anderson Kevin
my 2024 Santa Fe only with 1488 miles already need a new transmission.
Hyundais engines are crap don’t buy a Hyundai
It’s a Hyundai!!!!!
Fake fake fake
I think the Pontiac Aztek looked better.
garbage clickbait
It's just like a they model it from Lego bricks.
The front and side profile looks OK however, the back makes it look like a minivan and nobody likes minivan
it looks like the "Truckster" that the Griswald's drove in the Vacation movie. It is one of the ugliest vehicles on the road in my opinion
There is no Kia or Hyundai that I would ever buy👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾. The new Mazdas and the older Toyota’s are the true kings👍🏾👍🏾
BS, that 10 year warranty is amazing, we have a Palisade, more room, more features than ANY Mazda or Toyota at a lot less money, Had 1 mechanical issue at 70,000 miles, Fixed at no cost! Better than any Mazda we have owned
Looks like a Range Rover and got their reliability 😂
Cheesy review.
What do you get when you mix a ford flex, first gen geo metros rear hatch and tail lights. A crappy unreliable 2024 Hyundai sante fe
