I had to cut my stream short because I was having a hard time seeing and thought it was fog or haze. When I later looked at the metar this is what I saw.
MMTG 291545Z 03002KT 2 1/2SM FU HZ SKC 32/22 A3003 so it was haze and smoke and since there have been fires in Mexico that makes much more sense.
