Avoid these white jeans mistakes in 2023
Love them or loathe them white jeans have become an unexpected favourite in the last few years. They're a fantastic alternative to traditional blue jeans too - especially in Summer. But they've kind of got a bit of a reputation for being tricky to style and I truly believe there are some definitely dos and dont's when it comes to wearing them well. So today I'm sharing some simple styling tips and tricks and outfit formulas to make white jeans your new go-tos. The great news is that they've also moved away from being skin-tight - they've kind of forged a more modern path - so if you haven't liked white jeans in the past, now may be the perfect time to revisit them.

My favorite for summer is white jeans and a red tee or blouse. I pair it with red flats or white sneakers and I have a easy go-to outfit. I also add a red structured bag and some gold earrings. I love the white jeans with a denim shirt. Why didn't I think of that?? 🤦♀️

Love white jeans. I got my first pair of white jeans in 1978 at the age of 13. I have had many pairs over the years and am still rocking them at 58. This year I started wearing white on white with my white denim jeans and shorts and I am really enjoying this look...so chic and easy to put together. For shoes, I wear nude sandals, nude slides, thin black flip flops or my white sneakers. I don't care if white jeans are in style or not, I'll always be wearing my white jeans!!! That is such a cute top you have on today. 🙂
I’ve always LOVED white jeans; they’re my summer staple & almost a uniform for me. They can elevate almost any top & soooo easy to dress up or down. I think they’re so much classier than blue denim.
White jeans or pants are a classic since forever in Europe, Med especially, in Summer 🤷🏻
I thought they were in the US too 😬. I see people wearing them everywhere and I have to travel the country a lot. 🤷🏻♀️🥴

I love white jeans all year round. I am very picky about the fit and the thickness. In the United States we use Oxy clean for optic whites and when all else fails soak in small amounts of peroxide
Oxyclean works great on all whites! I use it all the time, including for white towels and sheets!
I use dawn dish liquid:)

I've always had white jeans in rotation,they're my fave. Being from the tropics I wear them year round they always make my outfit more fresh feeling.

Good timing for me to see your video! I am taking a 7 day cruise of the Greek Isles next month. I bought a few blouses with patterns in shades of blue and white. I found a dressier pair of straight legged white pants, which will be nice for just the ship. I also found a great pair of wide legged jeans, which I love! They suit my body type and vibe. They also look great with the blouses I bought. They take me back to my teenage years in the 1960s and 70s. Such a classic look!❤

Great video, brilliant illustrations used. I have a lovely pair of off-white jeans from Zara, balloon silhouette. I wore them with a red, with orange undertone, top and a tan belt and received so many compliments. Thing is, I threw it together without a single thought. One of my fav looks of this summer on me.

I like wearing black shoes with white jeans. They add a little edge, but in general I add something black to almost every outfit I wear.

I like the idea of a thick white jeans because you bring up transparency and I realized that is why I had not worn a few of mines. I have never been a thong fan and to always have too have the correct pair of underwear ready to go if you going to wear them and that just never coincide much. And then there the non-removable stain and rust has been a factor, also dinginess. It great that you included some white after Labor Day looks. This summer I finally found what I thought was the perfect white Jean, bright white, straight leg, and thick enough to look crisp and not be see through. They were perfect when I bought them in spring, but already they are far too thick for summer, and are too hot!

I'm surprised you didn't mention a light blue top, like a button up shirt, maybe over a white tank top. I also have a Chanel style boucle jacket i love to wear with my white jeans. It looks so fresh. Any color on top is good, especially a shade of pink.

I found a pair of white jeans that feel kind of thin. They are denim. But I bought three pairs and those felt the best. So they are the only ones I have worn so far. But I got them dirty. So I have to keep washing them to try to get them clean. But I have two other pairs. It’s too hot where I live right now. So I don’t wear jeans. Only shorts and tees.

I find jeans extremely uncomfortable and I can never get a proper fit. But, if I do wear
them, they will be white ones. I love white on the bottom, whether in trousers, shorts or skirts.

I love skinny jeans and i dont really look good in any other one type of jeans,specially wide or straight legs-is not flatter for my figure like I think for alot of womens then I dont see the reason to follow blindly for something because its trendy then i am not gonna resign from skinny one🙂👍🥰
