@@yaird6695 Kiko is a fantastic guitarist and i live Angra but for Megadey's style, Marty is the best. After all he is the one who wrote all those classic Megadeth's leads and you know it.
Absolutely one of the best guitar players ever in the world. The way Marty phrases all of his solos is very creative. You can tell he’s following his heart and soul when he’s playing each note. He’s not just playing some Eddie Van Halen crazy tapping major scale that every guitar player plays over and over and over until your 👂 s melt. I’m not knocking Eddie Van Halen I love his playing man just saying the phrasing part is much different than everyone else in the industry
even if im more of a Chris Poland-era Megadeth fan, i can´t deny that Marty is one of the best guitar players of all time, his style is totally personal, you hear a few seconds of any of his solos and you recognize him immediatly.
I work hard to buy a bike, now i found a job so. Work hard again to buy a jackson js32 or an ibanez rg to start shredding ( i have the speed but my strat is a begginer guitar i need humbukers and better fretboard access)
It's him and Chris Poland imo. Kiko and Broderick absolutely rip but Marty's solos are so full of melody and interesting tonal shifts that they can stand on their own outside of the context of the song they're in.
Nah.. It's distortion and his vibrato.... Nobody can play those arpeggios and chromatics without string noises when you are playing with high gain and distortion
Absolutely the best megadeth's lead guitarist.
Indeed
Chris Poland had better phrasing and vibrato sad we was an addict and we didn’t see more of him.
Kiko lourero😎

@@hammersmashedface6059 He played on System Has Failed thouhh
This guy had passion. He was clear it was not only technique but also emotion. I'd compare some melodies of RIP with the style of David Gilmour
Reminds me more of Brian May
@@ivans.191he was inspired by him and also ace frehley when he was younger.
0:56 my favorite hangar 18 solo

No one's gonna talk about the Mustaine's porn film actor mustache?
💀
the bluesy bend at 1:12 is such an awesome contrast to what comes before
the first solos for me are the best, they give me a strange feeling, a nostalgia I don't know
Marty was the only reason I even listened to Megadeth
Cmon Marty is God, but Peace sells lineup is gold too
@@Jaimealonsoreyes nah. Peace sells just sounds uninteresting imo. Rip is the greatest thraah album ever but besides rip megadeth is kinda meh
Then your clearly new to the scene, take it a couple years and you might appreciate the drums and bass just as much…

So tasteful!
love the exotic feel Friedman throws in
0:40 damn what a perfection
Hangar 18 make me want to know more megadeth songs
Ok guys time to practise
How’s the practise going for you? I’m about to practise right now.
