worked for a pearl dealer in nyc. Mother of Pearl is the shell. With the animals used in cultured pearls (like 99.9% of pearl jewelry is cultured pearl) the shell of the animal dictates the color of pearl it can produce. "black pearls" which can range from beautiful sea foam green, to deep purples or "black" is an animal that has those colors in the shell --that type of oyster/animal is typically only viable in tahiti... which is why black pearls are "tahitian pearls". South Sea pearls can be white/cream/silver blue and even gold. Chinese pearls or fresh water pearls can range from peaches/violets and pink hues... Would be interesting if watches used more pearl/mother of pearl in their watches.

The stone dial is more than likely named Lapis Lazuli after the pigment rock of the same name thanks to the similarity in colour, which in turn was named for the Latin translation of 'Stone from Heaven' or 'Stone from the Sky'.
Edit: Just done some research and I wasn't aware that the dial actually was a slice of the stone itself so that definitely explains the name.

No it wasn't it actually had diamonds that where aftermarket on the band with a black dial. If you notice any videos or the all eyes on me album you will see he has a matching bracelet with the diamonds in the center as well. I also know this because this is the watch I've always wanted but I want to put a after market meteorite dial instead.

50 cent actually has a massive rollex collection he's even brought some of the best rollex watches for other celebrities I think he deserves his own video however I don't think he wears his good ones out only in music videos.

There's a few options.
Tag Hauer has some good looking affordable options. (yea I said it! Some people actually wear Tag Hauer cause they like them. At least it's not a Hublot.)
You've also got some great options from Timex and Casio for more casual wear without worrying about losing a ton of money if something happens to the watch.
Personally I wear a $30 Casio a700w-1acf. It's clean, it's functional and it can take a beating. If I'm going out or wanna get fancy I have a Timex Standard Chrono (TW2T21000VQ) in silver for $120-130.
Tissot has a great selection, awesome quality, and they're pretty reasonable.
I like how Nico doesn't explain at all on Snoop dog watch.

The reason why he says 90k, is because the dealer (the guy who knows most hip hop guys have absolutely no real idea what is the true value of those watches, besides for what they 'sell' for) SELLS it to them for 90k. The dealer then pockets the 50-60k difference between true value and sell price.

1. What’s wrong with having a pure gold chain? What you need diamonds for? Diamonds can be really feminine.
