This is the theme of the latest Strategic Asia book by the National Bureau of Asian Research. The panelists presented the unique circumstances of their governments in having to balance economic security with economic integration while dealing with the US and China. They agreed that trust and clarity are essential to building the region’s socioeconomic resilience, both within societies and among strategic partners.
