    Great Tutorial, I've been wanting to do this for a long time. Thank you so much. I tried this in my daughter's room, but they don't go up and down easy at all, it is because I did not leave any slats like you did. Smart.

    I think that I could do this. Roman shades, I found are outside of my budget.

    Are we able to cover the back with the same material as the front, so they look pretty from the outside too? TIA

    OMG thank you for your easy tutorial! I'm new to crafting and I have a question. I just bought a little glue gun. Is all glue the same? Or do I have to go to Michael's to get a special glue for cloth? I have a bag of mini glue sticks. Thank you!❤

    Easiest way to remove slats are to remove bottom then cut "ladder" strings and then slide them all off at once!!!! Easy breezy!! Thank you for this excellent video tutorial!! Hope you dont mind that I gave my helpful hint on the removal of the slats!!

    • @Belindasdiys
      @Belindasdiys  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    • @HA-lk4uu
      @HA-lk4uu 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Belindasdiys actually, I removed bottom, then slid the main cords up through all the blinds. Then they slide out sideways from the ladder. I just did this yesterday and it was really, really easy!!!

    Awesome idea & tutorial! I don't know how to use a sewing machine & custom shades using my fabric were going to take weeks for order fulfillment smh. Did you use a hot or low temp glue gun?

    great tutorial, however, I have had a monster time with these cordless blind installations in my home. maybe it is just my windows ,but I have to get my husband to put them up (oh no!) ,I could not do it myself. we don't all need cordless ,(safety I know for the kiddies)but I have a lot of rooms I would love to install your roman shades but will be waiting on the husband schedule ,which is slo mo in my house! thnx for easy instructions!

    I can't get this project started. I got my old blinds out of the garage and tried stretching them out on my table, but they keep retracting. How can I stop this from happening? Thanks in advance. I love your channel!❤

    • @Belindasdiys
      @Belindasdiys  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello thank you. I let the top of the blind rest at the edge of a table that way it would put a bind and that allowed me to work on the blinds. I hope that makes sense.

    Question are these mini blinds cordless from Walmart as will?

  • @lisagranados5224
    @lisagranados5224 ปีที่แล้ว

    Belinda, do you remove the shades completely off the cord?

  • @kaydee7409
    @kaydee7409 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    You don’t have to cut the extra slates off you can just snap/tare them

    Those hot glued blinds would not last one day at my house, the sun is so intense and hot in my windows that it would melt.

      Sorry...they are retractable by pulling the bottom.
