You, Pablo, I once followed you under another username. I used to be K-Nine. I don't know if you remember me. I dropped my interest for the PTCGO and years later, I'm not playing PTCGL! You completely forgot Regidrago V-Star's new best friend, Brilliant Blender!
Thanks for the video! Havent seen much hype for roaring moon ex, i think its due to a bad matchup into dusknoir decks. Do you think there is ever a way to combat those (emergency jelly) or does the 3 1-prizers let you force a single prize take more often than not?
How would Regidrago utilize Alolan Exeggutor? I struggle with my Bolt matchup at locals and a Noivern lock is too difficult to play. Alolan Exeggutor instead guarantees a KO whether or not Bravery Charm is on without putting energy in the Lost Zone. Thoughts?
The randomness of it isn't great as if you're using it all you're trying to do is beat Raging Bolt in a 2-2-2 prize race which you're already at a disadvantage because they can attack immediately and you always need to wait a turn to evolve. So I concluded (backed up by results from hundreds of tournaments in Japan) that it's just not worth it. You can see here how it has been used in Regidrago decks but as a novelty and then it drops down in usage as the days and weeks go by: limitlesstcg.com/cards/jp/SV7a/40/decklists/jp
So raging bolt is of course Drago's worst matchup. Best thing you can do is of course always go first cause they don't always have first turn attack. Prioritize getting Tina in discard so you can guarantee a knockout with Alex dragon. I personally run 2 jamming tower so that charm doesn't keep them out of range from rad zard or Tina attack. If you can try to have a one prizer up front turn one like cleffa, Hawlucha, hoothoot or even kyurem because they can only get turn 1 attack if they play sada so don't need to worry about gust most likely plus this will give them uneven prizes and put them in an awkward spot. Hope this helps friend.
@@lordvizer7398 Thanks! I subbed a jamming tower for Exeggutor, but do you have any idea what i could sub out for jamming tower? Regi has been one of my favorite decks for a while but its bolt matchup is abysmal, i hope this helps. Plus, it makes Terapagos and Pikachu useless because no tenacious heart/bouffalant invincibility. Lol
@@tablemon Aww. that sucks.. Any way to get around Bolt AS regidrago, or should i just drop Regidrago? Im going to the Sacramento regional soon, and i'm considering what to run that's NOT control. Lol
@@enhidri160 I see the value for exeggutor but I don't personally think you need it for terapagos as your matchup is pretty good already in my opinion. Assuming your running the typical 60 for regidrago you could cut iono to 2 for a second jamming tower. You could even cut the cologne if your locals has nobody playing gardy or control but if you go to a regional then add it back. Just an idea but you could try pokemon hq stadium as it would prevent a bolt player from going attach sada and attack turn one if it sticks which would give you the opportunity to take the first 2 prizes. Overall it's gonna be tough regardless of what you do but usually if you can get first 2 prizes off them then you can normally win with another drago attack copying tina plus rad zard to finish the game. I wouldn't drop the deck as it has won back to back regionals but keep in mind that people will look to tech for it due to tournament results so I would expect alot of bolt at upcoming regionals. Hope this helps good luck at your locals and regionals you go to.
@@steamyplane2904 charizard dragapult miraidon all good decks that will stick around but we don’t even have a date for rotation so I recommend you enjoy the game today rather than worrying
This might be a stupid question, but shouldn't every deck that plays Boss just play Lisia's Appeal instead? At least that way even if you miss the KO you get the confusion effect.
Brutal, Pablo!

Any thoughts on Chien Pao EX now that one of the better looking decks is weak to water and has a similar playstyle to it?
Is the battle pass free now like everything is available
dragapult does not work :c
should i build a deck now or wait until after rotation i have 11k exchange credits i just want to build a deck that will last

Raging B still the best anyway XD

You can’t gust for Pidgeot or other evolution engines, so it has less variability. And also just don’t whiff the knockout lol
@Kewa_ that makes sense, I had no idea Lisia only gusts up basics. I haven't paid much attention to this set so I didn't know. Thanks
@@alextheballer20for what we know this card could be the substitute to boss in future rotations so maybe you're not far from the truth
Not a stupid question! It only switches basics so it's a tad niche but I'd probably use it in certain decks
You say raging bolt doesn’t get a upgrade is that a challenge 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 u sure u know anything about Pokemon lol
Please enlighten us on what new cards will make Raging Bolt better and will show up in tournament winning decklists
