the new album is *Dance Devil Dance*, 3 songs have been released so far - all of them are killers & get stuck in my head so bad. i don't mind, cos they're amazing. avatar are really truely coning into their own. it's incredible to watch.
I really like the guitar, and drums on this! The vocals are very good as well. Heavier than their last record,which wasn't bad,but I like the sound of this one much better. Also, really liked the guitar solo. Video was cool as well.
aw, I love Gun. I love Johannes' clean vocals, and it's a song that took him YEARS to finish because the composition always sounded wrong to him until he stripped it down to just his voice and a piano. And It was beautiful to hear live.
Hell yes, this one's a total banger! Only found out about these crazy fuckers in Feb on TH-cam and it all started with a recommended video of some dude looking like Eric Draven (the Crow is my fave movie and I crushed on Eric hard - still do!) so I HAD to check them out and within one minute of their Wacken 2015 set, I KNEW I was gonna love them and now they're one of my fave bands 😀 They're the whole package for me: killer stage presence, costumes, makeup, guitar tones, brilliant lyrics and phrasing, talent, the whole circus theme, ENERGY, man...I can go on and on They should never ever be an opener again, no way and how they're not bigger than they are is beyond me Killer review my dudes and I hope you guys can check out a show on this upcoming tour!
Shit, Gun is a good song. Been an avatar fan for a decade or more and love that they can do so many different sounds. Gun is definitely not a song I seek out, but I don't skip it either

Hunter Gatherer is not my favorite but man I love this band. Going Hunting, Barren Cloth Mother So Sang the Hollow and now this. All four songs so far are great!
