Very nice, and inspiring. I have a cast of a sculpture that I haven't touched for a while because I wasn't happy with how it came out. But this puts the casting process into perspective. I was hoping it would come out perfect. Good to know that even great sculptors casts are imperfect.

Thank you! Yes my castings always require a bit of work before they look good.

@@EirikArnesenArt Thank you Eirik, I will try it same way. I just buyed the silicone rubber you use from italy, 3 kg looks very little for my head portrait sculpture 😁 but i think it will be ok. I would like to share my work for discussion, it is my first time I try sculpting portrait and I will do it again for sure. Understanding forms and anatomy is really fundamental, my knowledge from painting and drawings helped me a lot. My teacher's always told me I have a sculpting style in my drawings.
Thank you and I wish you all the best in your artwork!

Thank you! I will look into these sanding pads and give them a shot! If I can find them, here in Italy.

Simply amazing!! Quick question do u sculpt with WED WATER BASED CLAY Or oil based clay?

I use both, it depends on the scale of the piece. Larger works I use water-based clay and smaller pieces I use oil-based clay.
