K Swapping my Wide Body Honda Civic - Episode 1

Follow me on our journey as I swap a k24a2 out of an AcuraTSX into my time attack civic! We start by going over what engine, transmission, and other accessories are needed before I drop the engine into the car. This will be episode 1 out of a series of videos leading up to track day at streets if willow.

The car looks really good with the M&M kit. Did you install a RSX Type-S oil pump? I have a hoist as well but I use a moving dolly from Harbor Freight.

Yea I did! A must have to be able to rev up much higher safely 🙌🏽

If you have a cherry picker, why not use that to put the motor in rather than going from underneath?

Easier to guide the engine in without hitting the engine bay by accident 😉

You should deff get a k tuned oil pump I highly recommend it with a head package and it already come cut to fit your motor the k tuned one look into it

Ktune don’t sell oil pumps at least to my knowledge an even if they did I’d rather go with 4p it’s ported an cut already

@@MonroviaAlignment yea I was thinkn the same later in my build but also wanna do a lil more research on their pumps ,it’s a type s ported an polished if I’m not mistaken so I’m unsure exactly the diff is ,as my pump has been modded as well same as 4p unless they have some secretos we don’t know about lol ,I hope to have mine running soon still looking for a rbc mani to even crank her over so we will see ,I’m doing a awd k turbo integra build
