    "A human became a Pokemon? That has so many implications." Yes, yes it does. Canonically, in text from the games themselves, human and Pokemon are pretty much the same thing. There are stories of an age where they *were* the same, getting married, having children with each other, etc. At some point they split off from each other, but some Pokemon retain their human connections. Mostly ghost Pokemon, which are often (though not always!) formed from human souls, but also things like Kadabra, which canonically (according to the in-game Pokedex, at least) used to be a psychic human child that woke up one day transformed into a Pokemon, in a very Kafka-esque scenario.

    the whole "Geralt of Rivia" trivia bit actually goes deeper and is honestly one of my favorite backstory twists ive seen in writing...As mentioned, Witchers make up fake knighthood titles to gain favor with potential employers BUT Geralt actually becomes knighted by the queen of Rivia (Meve) when he stumbles on them fighting a losing battle with Nilfgard for a bridge crossing...and since Geralt and his party had to cross they ended up winning the battle for Rivia and rewarded with knighthood. Um actually, the regulations for what firewood you can gather from the environment vary a lot depending on where you are camping. Popular camping areas usually ban gathering wood on-site, but some national forests allow it, some private camping sites allow it, and places with high risk of wildfire usually ban campfires completely regardless of where the wood comes from.
    But the initial correction is also right, that you should never transport firewood, because it risks bringing along emerald ash borer, oak blight, and a bunch of other nastiness.

Within the show’s lore, Toffee was a indestructible warlord who killed Moon’s mother, and was then humiliated when teen Moon cut off one of his fingers with a spell that was intended to kill him (she got this spell from Eclipsa, a former queen of Mewni who was imprisoned due to using dark magic and falling in love with a monster). Toffee takes over Ludo’s castle at the end of season one, and then forces Star to destroy her wand with the Whispering Spell as part of his big revenge plan against Moon. From there, he becomes a wand and begins taunting the realm of magic, takes over Ludo at the end of season 2 and kills a majority of the magic counsel, and does end up temporarily killing Star. Rivia while appearing in the books is not a location visited in any of the three games (with the first one taking place at Kaer Morhen and Vizima, the second taking place in Temeria, Flotsam, Vergen/Kaedwan, and Loc Muinne, and the last taking place in Kaer Morhen, White Orchard, Velen, Novigrad, Skellige, and Toussaint). So, if you tell me the books don't count for the first one then you can't say that it's true you go to Rivia in the game. Um actually, Star Butterfly and her people are humans. In Season 4 of the show, it was revealed that humans stumbled into the realm of magic and emerged from that realm in what would later become Mewni. Some of these humans would be imbued with magical properties, mostly royalty, and would later call themselves Mewmans. Also, Toffee does not work for Ludo and has been fighting against Mewmans for decades as he abhors their use of magic.

    For everyone rushing to the comments to say that Final Fantasy VII and X/X-2 take place in the same universe: no, they don't. Kazushige Nojima corrected this in a 2018 interview, stating it was basically just an in-joke among some of the developers and that it getting printed in the Ultimania blew it out of proportion.
    Here's his statement on it:
    "This story is a bit of a joke. When we created FFX-2, we wanted to create something, a totally new world. Except that when I created it, I realized that it looked a lot like FFVII ... But without realizing it. Afterwards, when it was officially said in Ultimania, it took a completely gigantic proportion when it was just an anecdote."

    Um actually, while most numbered FF games are unrelated, there are more than a few that take place in the same world. FF 12 is part of Ivalice as is FF14, and 15 takes place in the same universe as 13

    • @stryed1111
      @stryed1111 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      15 and 13 were originally going to take place in the same world (15 was originally 13Versus), but that was scrapped and they take place in different universes. FF14 is specifically stated to be it's own world, and while places such as Ivalice do exist, it's basically an alternate-universe version of them, which works with the question. The question is wrong, however, because FF7 and FF10 have been stated to take place in the same universe. Shinra's technology to gather energy from the farplane in FFX-2 is stated to be an ancestor to Shinra's technology to create materia in FF7.

    Um, actually, in generation three, when Banette was introduced, it had no evolution. Is incorrect to say that Shuppet is an evolution of Banette - Banette is Shuppet’s evolution, not vice versa. This means the phrase “Banette has no evolution” is correct in that generation. However, in generation six, Banette was given a _mega_ evolution. Named, creatively, Mega Banette. Meaning she was correct that Banette now has an evolution, but Trapp’s correction was incorrect.
