Jodie Comer is an incredible actress. It's a shame that Killing Eve ended because she was so brilliant as Villanelle in the series. I wish miss Comer continued success.

Right?! I have received so much backlash when I said so before, but Eve can be replaced by another actress (not that Sandra’s not good of course), but Jodie IS Villanelle - she makes the show what it is. She’s magic.

Considering the books are called Villanelle series, and we know next to nothing about Eve apart from the fact that psychopathy turns her on, I am confused as to why the show is called Killing Eve. Its not even about Eve specifically

i *love* actors who play really eccentric or badass characters but are the sweetest, nicest people in real life. Seeing jodie after only knowing her from Killing Eve is so funny, just from how normal and polite she is, and how much higher her natural voice is. It was the same way after watching The 100 and finding out Alycia Debnam Carey is the sweetest person on earth, I couldn't believe how different she is from Lexa lol

I discovered Jodie when she was in My Mad Fat Diary and loved her there so to see her glow up with Killing Eve and now to a big Hollywood star... ah, I feel like a proud mama!
Never knew not really my bag but she is the best actress around right now and I'm surprised people aren't ringing her agent none stop to get her into their movies just hope she doesnt become like keeley hawes so underated imo

I first fell in love with Jodie when I watched Thirteen, then watched Mad Fat Diary and went "omg it's Jodie" and then obvs when Killing Eve first came out I had to watch it immediately! She's awesome

I absolutely loved her in Killing Eve. She had me cracking up so many times. The "this is so boring" line I must have watched like 20x because I couldn't stop laughing. The fact it wasn't scripted just makes it so much funnier. Her facial expressions are priceless

When I first heard about "Killing Eve" I was a bit dubious about the hype surrounding Jodie, but the more I watched the more I realised that the hype was probably understated. She's a freaking genius!🙂

My world has collapsed since the day I first saw Jodie Comer. I can't do anything else but think about her anymore. It's just crazy. In my life, I have never had such emotions for people from the screen. This is an incredible actress, there are no such people like her, there never was and there never will be again.

I can relate to this as well, never felt this attached to a character like vilanelle, never have cried so hard about a show, never have wished she was real and in my life, I feel kinda dumb to be honest, but still, happy to have met killing eve

I found out _My Mad Fat Diary_ after the first season of Killing Eve, sort of by chance, and let me tell you: she's absolutely right. It stands the test of time and it's one of the funniest, cleverest shows I've watched. I wish I could erase it from my memory to watch it again.

I think the laugh Jodie Comer made about the earth being flat can make anyone stop believing that the world is flat. Such a great loud laugh that can bring out the stupidity out of anything. The world is not flat, it's a sphere.

Ali is a phenomenal interviewer. I love all the non-standard questions. These are the REAL things we want to know, and some things we didn't know we wanted to know.
In this world of grim, she brings a bright light of comic relief most of us need. I hope she can keep it up.

I'm American, so I'm not super familiar with specific British accents but I love Jodie's. It's so cute!
She's from Liverpool, although her accent has softened and got more "posh" proper English, like a wealthy Londoner with time. There's a twinge of American in there now too, which makes sense if she's got a lot of them around her while she's working.
@@mydogeatspuke I think it's definitely partly that and that she purposely softens her accent for interviews and press to be easily understood, she also often pusts on a posh British accent when she's saying something funny I've noticed too
@@sophieeardley8458 yeah, I definitely think she's intentionally being less Scouse as it can be such an abrasive accent. I've noticed Perrie (?) from Little Mix does the same, as her accent is very distinct naturally.
yes it’s lovely isn’t it. it hurts me a little to hear that she’s apparently been encouraged to tone down her accent for american audiences though so they can understand her bc i know she’s gonna be a HUGE star and if she does that now before long she’ll lose it completely
And here i am still star struck on how phenomenal she was in killing eve and how different she was from villanelle.. I mean her accent, the body language and everything was so damn real like a psychopath in the show and here she is so bubbly, so graceful and cute and so different from her character.. It just fabulous 😂 she so damn deserve the emmy award

Just a shame that he thought she was the one who axed the guy in the back. Being that it was a pretty iconic moment as far as character development in the show, it's unlikely that he's actually watched it. But she did well not to correct him.
