Jodie is probably the greatest modern day actress I have seen. Her role in Killing Eve was off the charts in acting, you actually believe she is the strange minded ruthless killer with a strange soft spot to connect with Eve. The program was a bit off the wall, but her and Fiona Shaw made it well worth watching. Jodie will go on to greater things that is for sure, Oh I am a fellow scouser so I am a bit biased.
No you're right. Her portrayal of Villanelle is one of the best in recent TV history. She's unreal and will be a huge movie star soon. She killed it in this and The Last Duel.
She makes such a loveable little psychopath on Killing Eve. I love how she plays Villanelle. I haven't seen her in anything else, but I hope to see her on a lot more.

i was gonna comment on how this interview was visibly uncomfortable for both actors. it just seems like there were a lot of awkward pauses between the two of them and lots of edit cuts/background music/movie clips saved this.

I tend to be frustrated with interviewers, most are not very good, but this guy is actually really good at interviewing, the ability to get them to talk more on their own instead of forced conversations. Great interview. Oh, and the stars were cool.
About Jodie it’s so true that I had absolutely no ideas who she was, but in Killing Eve she just appeared out from no where, and only after a few seconds I think absolutely everybody was in loved with her, sensational talents, someone who able to switch from a sadistic killer to a sweet angle in a ten of a second got to have a lots of talents. Wonderful combination of Ryan and Jodie. 😍😍😍👍

God i love how humble Ryan Reynolds is, after deadpool he is for sure doing intense stunt work while telling a joke, that's really, really hard. You try running around doing physical moves which could easily result in injury in say fight scenes and time a joke, it's so hard. There's no way, Ryan Reynolds massively underplaying his stunt ability, and radio 1 again producing a really nice interview that's like a large glass of hot chocolate/ tea break

This movie was filmed in my city (Boston). Also it’s cool to see Jodie getting the love she deserves, she’s fantastic and she’s my favorite actress. Great to see Ryan, such a funny and charming guy. Also props to this interviewer, he did a great job!
Good interview, a real pleasure to watch. Listening to Jodie Comer, seems her Liverpudlian accent has been invaded by the many other accents she surrounds herself with and the effect of living a lot of your life away from your home town. Could only hear the Liverpool in her about 30% of the time. Mind you, having spent a year in the USA myself, I recall how I had to water down my British accent to make it easier for those around me to understand, because two nations divided by a common language is a real thing ;)

I dont know if it is all Canadians but Ryan Reynolds is definitely their Poster Child. His manners are impeccable (when needed to be), he is a gentleman and treats women right, and he rarely blows his own horn but has no problems bringing in a brass band for his co stars. I truly hope he is or becomes No 1 in his field because of all the actors he is No 1 in my heart. What a real man.

I’m from the same city and even people from the uk struggle to understand my accent (mine isn’t even that strong) so I totally understand her toning down her accent, not sure which area she’s from but she will have to slow down if she’s from north Liverpool too, we have a tendency to talk really fast 😆

man I remember Jodie from My Mad Fat Diary 😭 and now seeing her making moves in the industry and getting the recognition she deserves is great.

Ali is a great interviewer he asks the right questions and always makes his guests feel at ease. Ryan is always great and never tries to steal the spotlight from his co-stars. Let us not forget Jodie the woman who can blend in anywhere because she can do any accent, I loved her in killing Eve she was great, so cold and ruthless.
The only thing missing is hot suaces.

For a press junket interview that's about the best you can hope for. Maybe he was near the start of the queue before the repetitive questions start to wear down the actors.
I'm from the US and have never watched Ali episodes until recently. I wish more interviewers would look to you and take the hint on how professional you are. Always looking forward to the next one :)

God i love how humble Ryan Reynolds is, after deadpool he is for sure doing intense stunt work while telling a joke, that's really, really hard. You try running around doing physical moves which could easily result in injury in say fight scenes and time a joke, it's so hard. There's no way, Ryan Reynolds massively underplaying his stunt ability, and radio 1 again producing a really nice interview that's like a large glass of hot chocolate/ tea break

This movie was filmed in my city (Boston). Also it’s cool to see Jodie getting the love she deserves, she’s fantastic and she’s my favorite actress. Great to see Ryan, such a funny and charming guy. Also props to this interviewer, he did a great job!

Listening to Jodie Comer, seems her Liverpudlian accent has been invaded by the many other accents she surrounds herself with and the effect of living a lot of your life away from your home town. Could only hear the Liverpool in her about 30% of the time.
Mind you, having spent a year in the USA myself, I recall how I had to water down my British accent to make it easier for those around me to understand, because two nations divided by a common language is a real thing ;)
This was so good all around. Great interviewer, ryan is a quick witted lad and Jodie is a breath of fresh air. Loved it.

Jodie is SO beautiful, but she's also an amazing actor, and quite unique, I's say.
I dont know if it is all Canadians but Ryan Reynolds is definitely their Poster Child. His manners are impeccable (when needed to be), he is a gentleman and treats women right, and he rarely blows his own horn but has no problems bringing in a brass band for his co stars. I truly hope he is or becomes No 1 in his field because of all the actors he is No 1 in my heart. What a real man.
From what I've heard from fellow Canadians, we're all very proud of him. He helped out many charities during the pandemic. He's a class act.

I almost always find interviews of celebs painful to watch because most interviewers are so awkward and cringe-inducing and often ask stupid and/or boring questions but Ali Plumb is BRILLIANT and HILARIOUS so his interviews are SPLENDID! :) I also adore Ryan Reynolds ^_^ 💜💜💜💜

I’m from the same city and even people from the uk struggle to understand my accent (mine isn’t even that strong) so I totally understand her toning down her accent, not sure which area she’s from but she will have to slow down if she’s from north Liverpool too, we have a tendency to talk really fast 😆

Perhaps not, because as a professional she may be aware that such interviews will be watched all over the world, and if you want people from all over the world to understand you fairly easily, it may be smart to tone down one’s home accent. Besides the way she speaks in these interviews, it is still blatantly obvious, that she is not from either North American country☺️🇬🇧

Wonderful interview: Ryan, Jodie and Ali. But then I've never seen a bad interview with Ali (if there is one, it's the guest's fault!).
