This woman should win ***every award***. She's not just changing her accent and facial expressions...she changes something deeper, her energy, her way of filling a room. I'm not religious, but it's almost like an entirely different soul enters her. She is phenomenal.
I really wish we could she her morph into V on camera...it would be a treat to see how she does it, a small look, the accent, a mannerism.. You just believe JC and V are the same human.

I'm not sure why but watching this scene back with her makes me despise Eve a little bit more. I mean yeah Villanelle is a serial killer but that's why it's so much more rare and in a sense pure for her to have feelings. She just let her guard down and she goes and stabs her just imagine the level of emotion she has to have for someone to let her guard down knowing her job and her mental state.
TheSgoodsell Nah, the only thing Eve did wrong was not finishing Villanelle off. I’m not saying that because I hate Villanelle, but she is a serial killer/assassin. She needed to go, on a practical level. Oh well.

I really hate watching myself act, (I’m currently training to be a musical theatre performer). It’s really hard for me because I can see every, for me, glaring fault with my performance but at the same time I love it because I get to see how I improve and how the image in my head was portrayed to an audience and I always love to see how I can improve for next time!

I didn't know Jodie Comer was such a good actress til seeing her interviewed in real life. I thought Villanelle was a cold hard emotionless "easy" role to play but seeing how different Jodie is in real life - her acting is phenomenal and almost the best I've seen.
Jodie and Villanelle are really like two different people, IT IS SO AMAZING. I feel blest I get to exist the same time as Jodie Comer, I look forward to all her projects now. She is just the most brilliant!

Props to Jodie as a young actor being willing to do this type of interview. Almost all actors hate to watch themselves after the fact... Also it highlights how humble she is because I don't see how it's possible to critique any of her line deliveries
Jodie's little mannerisms are so different from Villanelle that it gives me a jolt every time her expression reminds me to Villanelle 😂 even though I know objectively that they are both the same person!

I know everyone's been saying how different she is from her character but I don't think she is that different. This interview/video is beautiful because it shows how well she understands her character and I've seen lots of interviews where actors don't really understand why the character did something or said something, or why they are the way they are. When I say I don't think she is that different I don't mean she goes around killing people, and I most definitely didn't know she is British, her acting is A+, but her understanding of the character and liking to it brings her closer to Villanelle. Her seriousness about this role and this character is just so amazing to watch, and her investment in the series and the process of filming.
The only finale worth talking about. Perfection. Phoebe Waller-Bridge is God.
Too bad Pheobe didn't do season 2. Get her back for season 3 I say. Season 1 was definitely the better season.
