I'm not sure why but watching this scene back with her makes me despise Eve a little bit more. I mean yeah Villanelle is a serial killer but that's why it's so much more rare and in a sense pure for her to have feelings. She just let her guard down and she goes and stabs her just imagine the level of emotion she has to have for someone to let her guard down knowing her job and her mental state.

I really hate watching myself act, (I’m currently training to be a musical theatre performer). It’s really hard for me because I can see every, for me, glaring fault with my performance but at the same time I love it because I get to see how I improve and how the image in my head was portrayed to an audience and I always love to see how I can improve for next time!
The fact that Jodie can watch her self on TV (which a lot of actors refuse to do) and give herself constructive criticism on her performance shows how mature and amazing she is not only as a person but an actress.
Jodie and Villanelle are really like two different people, IT IS SO AMAZING. I feel blest I get to exist the same time as Jodie Comer, I look forward to all her projects now. She is just the most brilliant!

I know everyone's been saying how different she is from her character but I don't think she is that different. This interview/video is beautiful because it shows how well she understands her character and I've seen lots of interviews where actors don't really understand why the character did something or said something, or why they are the way they are. When I say I don't think she is that different I don't mean she goes around killing people, and I most definitely didn't know she is British, her acting is A+, but her understanding of the character and liking to it brings her closer to Villanelle. Her seriousness about this role and this character is just so amazing to watch, and her investment in the series and the process of filming.
What's really fascinating is that she is nothing like her character Villanelle. What an amazing performance by Jodie. I couldn't think of anyone who could've played Villanelle. I mean, she totally deserved a load of awards.
