A testament to the design that situational abilities can lend themselves to a whole playstyle. I use Gawain's taunt when we're ambushed and enemies are right in our face, or (more commonly) at the latter stages of a big battle when a lot of the action is down to a scrum at the center and the squishier sages and vanguards come in to assist.
Yup that's a very viable strategy.
Glad you used a pic from the show Merlin for thumbnail. Not sure if you have seen it but it's actually a great show.
I have seen a couple of trailers but not the actual show. I might have to check it out now that I know the characters a little better.
Side note; the evil characters are way better than the good characters from my experience. Dark knight is best character in game power wise. Red knight is also nuts (double proc bleed effects per turn). Lesson of the story? Evil is good… sooo so good
white Knight Sir Galahad duo is pretty neat as well

@@LeeroyGaming I'm loving my Tyrant Christian playthrough right now. I'm literally about to turn the game on to get the black knight right now. Pretty stoked about it honestly.
Rightful chars aka Sir Lancelot and Sir bors were kinda underwhelming for sure and i don't find them viable in harder difficulties. Is he better than Merlin though? Merlin just nukes everyone around and burns the ones that survived.
@@seifeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee he can be build to chain kill and stack damage where in a turn he can kill half a map and start hitting for hundreds, or even thousands of damage a hit lol (dark knight)
Can remove frugal with a tome. He’s pretty sick. Thinking of taking him even though I’m old rightful, old faith. Pellas is rubbish compared to this guy
Yeah I think Sir Percival is great. You can remove his trait with a tome but there's no telling when you will get one. I am level 15 on my Tyrant playthrough and still haven't gotten one of those books.
@@SlanderedGaming yeah fair enough. Playing on very hard I just save scum chests at the end of a mission to make sure I get whichever tomes I need
I normally go with 2 melee and 2 range so I know what to skip
There are some maps where they are just way too many enemies to bring 2 ranged.
Vanguard + sage they wreck enemies
@@seifeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee I actually prefer 1 melee and 3 range but because of this problem I op in to 2 melee
