Organisers should be held accountable for the backlash thats occurred. they say the results went to an auditor for a finalize. AARAAA HEA! Organisers of this competition should audit their own management. Should seek experienced professional judges from outside of Tonga and invite them to judge next years Heilala otherwise shut down the competition till further notice & let Kalo still be the reigning Heilala till a change happens IF the rumours are true of the bribery or favouritism. The other contestants are blatantly rude, showing a total lack of respect by disruptively acknowledging each other and diverting attention from Kalo at the very moment when she was receiving her honours. Beauty and jealousy are never far away from each other. They are as close to each other as your shadow is to you. I've seen it happen in our Samoan pageants as well. No doubt it also exists in pageantries in other nations. Families and friends of runner-ups will always find fault in the winner. Even judges don't escape the ire of the jealous brigade. The poor judges are like dart boards after every decision is delivered. We are all too familiar with calls of favouritism, rigged, bribery, and so on. One thing I know is that this kind of behaviour does not exist in the animal world. And that's the sad truth.

I think Sarong, Talent and Island Creation were rigged. Call me a hater or whatever, but it's not hard to see. How she won with the plain yellow sarong? Fangailupe obviously had the better sarong and looked better. Island creation, Fangailupe didn't even place and your going to tell me hers was better thab S&S and Ishadora? No I don't think so. And the talent, lets be real hers wasn't even real talent. Had no substance like Ishadora did. There must've been a reason the girls acted that way and honestly wouldn't blame them. Because by the looks on their face the results seemed so bullshit to them. Anyways the pageant needs to be reviewed and should follow the format of Miss South Pacific. Beauty and jealousy are never far away from each other. They are as close to each other as your shadow is to you. I've seen it happen in our Samoan pageants as well. No doubt it also exists in pageantries in other nations.
Families and friends of runner-ups will always find fault in the winner. Even judges don't escape the ire of the jealous brigade. The poor judges are like dart boards after every decision is delivered. We are all too familiar with calls of favouritism, rigged, bribery, and so on.
One thing I know is that this kind of behaviour does not exist in the animal world. And that's the sad truth.

I think Sarong, Talent and Island Creation were rigged. Call me a hater or whatever, but it's not hard to see. How she won with the plain yellow sarong? Fangailupe obviously had the better sarong and looked better. Island creation, Fangailupe didn't even place and your going to tell me hers was better thab S&S and Ishadora? No I don't think so. And the talent, lets be real hers wasn't even real talent. Had no substance like Ishadora did. There must've been a reason the girls acted that way and honestly wouldn't blame them. Because by the looks on their face the results seemed so bullshit to them. Anyways the pageant needs to be reviewed and should follow the format of Miss South Pacific. All the best to Kalo, nothing we can do now but get behind her and hope she does well at Miss South Pacific.

How does she have such an inside track with the judges that she knew she was already the winner? How are the other girls supposed to react? If they were kafi they all should have refused to go on stage and let her go by herself. So I dont blame them for being upset, for showing their disdain and talking about it afterwards.
