Thanks for the video. Very well done. I'll fly on the same route/plane next month. I flew on LH A340-300 to HKG last year and it was an awful experience in terms of seat, food and crew/service. I hope this will be better, at least in terms of legroom and comfort. I hope I'll get a premium economy seat!!
The staircase to the lower deck lavatories sure is a unique part of the A340-600! :) Glad to see that LH still operates the A340s and B747s in their fleet. It sure its rare to see these planes flying these days
The inflight meals are not impressive. No cake or ice cream to your dinner? Just some fruits? Hopefully they had a galley where you could grab snacks, sandwiches and beverages in between the meals. LH will never be my 1 choice anymore. :-/
Not really. You can get water/juice etc yourself, but no hot drinks in my experience. I relied on what I brought from the airport for additional snacks. But as most people spend a big portion of the flight sleeping, I didn't feel famished during the flight. The food was kind of meh, but I expected that. The comfort level in the economy class is really not great, I was very surprised that I had no back pain after traveling.

Probably one of the worst economy inflight service of any long haul European carrier.
Notoriously bad catering in particular.
