Been watching you for a while. You make my days since my wife has been disabled and haven't been able to get to the lake in about 7 years you have truly made my days. Keep the videos a coming.
5 or 6? My grandfather fished until he ran out of bait. The best day of fishing with him and my grandmother was 52 years ago on Crescent Lake in Florida on a cold winter's day. He brought 150 minnows and we used them all. My grandmother caught 16, I caught 62 and he caught 63. We cleaned fish for hours.
A lot of places have stringer limits now. Here in Ohio if you bag more than 8 you're looking at a fine.

Isn't that just the BEST?!? I LOVE fishing minnows under a bobber, especially when the water is real glassy smooth. THE BEST way to fish crappie that I know of!!

I've fished with my dad since about 4yrs old. He made it fun and i still love it today and miss going since moving to ga from sc not knowing spots here. Great video it really took me back. And the motto be good to your woman kinda won me over. Your wife is blessed!

Ice is finally getting off the lakes here in Michigan. This video takes me back to fishing minnows with my dad when I was a kid. He’d run two hooks about 18” apart and it was common to catch doubles. Thanks for the video.

Spent 3 days watching all your crappie videos. Then went out yesterday and caught well over a 2 man Iowa limit 25 a person only kept 15 and had a dang blast

Fishing on Lake Enid Lake, in Mississippi, using a cane pole, slide cork, spinner, 30 lbs test mono, I caught a 5 lb crappie back in 1959

I use a really small Rapala. Stop one little hook on it trouble hook that's all I use and those crappie love it

This reminds me of the time my brother and I were teenagers a long, long time ago. We liked to fish, and knew of a spot in this small reservoir near Los Gatos, CA where guys were catching Crappie. We read that they liked minnows. So, we bought 2 dozen minnows and drove to the spot. We were using Big Bobbers, line around 3 feet down. There was a tree, and we found that the fish were only in a 2'x2' area under the tree. We found this log raft, my brother went to the spot, and I would cast the the bobber and minnow to him, and he would put it in the right spot. We caught 20 fish that day, good size, (all about the size of the small ones in this video), it was a lot of fun!
