What i got from this clip is It's a Hybrid, can go 20miles on electric drive after that petrol will take over.
V6 hybrid and I’m really wondering how it’ll sound since it has less cylinders

So the heavy hybrid stuff is useless most of the time and the car keeps dragging that dead weight. A used 720S is a far more better investment !

Mclaren are releasing a new Car every week. Senna, senna GTR, GT, Elva, speed tail, 765 lt, artura I may even have missed some. All these in the span of like 2 years. Man mclaren are amazing.
You missed Sabre.
Missing: 600LT, 600LT Spider, 765LT Spider, Sabre, 570S GT4, 620R, Senna LM and probably even more...
Releasing that many cars isn't a good thing...that's why they're going bankrupt
....it's the same chassis it's the same ordeal as aventador it's not that amazing

@@icickeciak Because it is a 6 cylinder. The new Sports 'Entry-level' series are all going to be V6's/electric assistance going forward.
The V8s never sounded like V8s, that’s the problem. Even most 6-cylinders sound better.

I love how it sounds like a V6 *because it is* but they've still somehow managed to keep that traditional McLaren sound.
Theres a video of it driving on the road and it sounds like a V8.. still pretty loud

1. Fix electronic issues (on existing models)
2. Wait until people believe they are fixed
3. Launch a hybrid which is more complex

This model replaces the 570s that was released in 2015. The sports series had a total of 7 different models unlike the 911 that has over 30.

It’s replacing the 570s and 600LT. They’re not adding another car. They’re actually losing one.
@@cm-15 It's not about how many they have in their range, it's about how many they've been producing in recent years. It feels like every few months a new model is being announced. They're obviously still brilliant and beautiful cars, but they've lost that sense of prestige because there's so many of them.
@@Duncan94 I agree. I think they realize this and that’s why they are trying to cut down for the future. It looks like they are moving in the right direction doing this because it sets them self up for a new line of models instead of just making an LT for very base model. As long as they don’t make like 3 Artura models in two years they should be good lol.

It’s definitely going to be a design similar to McLaren’s recent car the Elva, so it’s gonna look amazing off the bat. We know it’s gonna be a hybrid, electric motor with a V6 and it’s gonna be green. Question is the price tag hopefully and will it be good.👀
