In 2018 I took my mom to Versailles for Mother’s Day and I saw two people riding horses. I thought they were police officers but then asked around and found out they do tours of Versailles grounds on horseback! I immediately signed us up and it’s been a cherished memory for both of us ever since. Horses and Versailles belong together, I wish I was there this year for the equestrian Olympic events hosted at Versailles. ❤
The world is watching how horses are treated as they reach Olympic levels. Wishing for a top level AND KIND and safe set of equestrian competitions this year. The venue is truly stunning.
In the US, the final (medal round) of team Show Jumping will be broadcast August 2 on NBC (45 minute highlights) and on E! (225 minutes, basically the full event).
You can visit it for free, the price is only for Olympic, that why I love bout Paris you can do site seeing for free just have a nice pair of trainers you goog to go.
I was in shock to see the prices for the tickets for Equestrian sports in these Olympic Games. To say it costs a fortune is to say nothing.. Olympics games used to be for all, now it's only for privilege visitors because not all the people can pay 900-1500 for one day of competition
I bought tickets one week ago via the official site, E235 for the kur and E205 for the team final, the cheapest tickets were around E85 I guess for the qualification days. I don't know the prices for jumping and eventing...
For years FEI has shared images of the dressage arenas being amongst the parterre gardens at Versailles and I’ve been commenting that it’s false advertising because the gaps in between those gardens are smaller than a dressage arena. Now we can see that the arena is nowhere near the parterre gardens 😂 how many tickets did you sell with false images?

Where did you see those prizes? Are you talking in euros? I got official tickets for way less!
There wasn't a full house at the Jumping Final in Rio 2016 (Google Image search: Nick Skelton, Big Star). To see half empty stands.
I got much cheaper tickets than that. Are you looking at VIP or something? I as well got tickets for jumping with really good seats.
