- Today we're doing a MYSTERY THRIFT SWAP (my friend thrifted my outfits!) Alexasunshine83 and I missed thrifting together so much that we decided to do some online thrifting for each other and pick out 5 secondhand items the other person has been wanting. I don’t think its bad to buy Shein or NastyGal secondhand even if they’re in hot water... Theyve already made their profit off of it. These clothes still don’t deserve to end up in a landfill 🤷🏻♀️
I truly do not understand and how anyone can get offended over second hand SHEIN. We all shop second hand for the same few reasons and to get mad over thrifting a certain brand goes against almost all of those reasons. Makes no sense.
I totally agree. If you're purchasing an item second-hand that's from a problematic brand, the brand isn't getting any profit so what's the big deal?
It makes me so happy to know you have a good living situation now. Everyone deserves comfort and peace of mind :)

There are several brands I never buy from. However, when buying things second hand, I never mind. Because as you say, it does not give more money to that company but is a better option for the planet than just throwing it out.

The last pink milkmaid top came from my poshmark!! Alexa bought it a couple of weeks ago. I’m so happy you love it, that was one of my favorites and I’m so excited it gets to be worn by one of my favorites 💗💗

You should do a styling clothes I never wear/styling clothes in a "out there" way type of video! Like you said with the big white belt and cowboy boots, I feel like especially in this time of wearing gym clothes all week it would be fun too see a vid of going all out with your style of things you might not typically wear. 💖

My favorites on you are the first one shoulder top and the yellow skirt!! what if you wore them together?👀 my only critique would be to maybe for next time have your video include Alexa shopping for you and then you trying on the clothes. And in Alexa’s video we would see you shopping for her and then her trying on. I think it might be more cohesive that way and then we’d get to see you both in each video!
They all looked amazing and the real feat is that everything she got fit you so well!! I know how hard this is in a midsize body when shopping online and especially with some of the photos that are shown on sites like Poshmark. Well done Alexa!! 🥰

That one shoulder black puff sleeve top actually looks like Shein's stock photos... Not to mention that they had various sizes which is a sign of drop shipping or getting in bulk from those cheap websites and reselling for like 300% profit...
First of all I love the pieces you loved. You look so cute in them.
Second, I think your ideas for styling the pink "Hawaiian" dress sound super. I know I'm old, but having been adult during the 80s I can reassure you about styles from then. And I tell you the white belt and cowboyish boots would be the perfect 80s vibe, yet give a modern twist. Please show us that outfit sometime soon.
Finally, please play with ideas to wear the blue dress. I think the color is fabulous on you, and I bet you can make a killer statement with it too.

It's super overwhelming with all of the stuff on there and it's also scary because I've heard about scammers on there that have designer fakes made and sell them trying to pass them off as legit. i want to see the pink vacation dress with white sneakers and a casual purse, smaller one or maybe tote with hair down and sunglasses. last top i want to see if it would be cute with the sleeves off the shoulder. first dark dress would be better without boots and jacket in my opinion because its already so covered and has beautiful details i wouldnt want to cover more, id make the slits higher maybe and wear with flip flops sandals or slides a super casual shoe that shoes your feet. this was such a cute video idea!
